JPGA WITB: Daisuke Maruyama
Golf Style is for sure more up to date than Golf Classic, but it says specifically in both Golf Classic June 2006 with phil on cover and Alba June 2006 he switched to 675 from the 665. I honestly dont care either way but text says so in both mags. check it out for yourself.

JPGA WITB: Daisuke Maruyama
Very Few, The biggest by far are Srixon and Tourstage but they don't control or penalize players that use other clubs i.e RC fairway woods, Bettinardi putters, Grind Studio Wedges, Taylormade Drivers... Actually the majority of players who use domestic equipment are those sponsored by U.S domestic companies. Titleist & Callaway seem to put players under full bag contract. Taylormade has many players but thats a German OEM if it matters, you also don't see TM forcing players into full bag contracts as much as the others. There are sadly even restrictions on shafts in some cases with the U.S domestic OEMs in both Japan and the U.S tours. Its a money game I tell ya. The Sponsorship game is a bit different in Japan, the clubs in players bags are more diverse due to less pressure and $$$ to play what their sponsor tells them to.:tsg_smilie_money3: FYI: rumor is Tigers New 2006 Nike Irons are a different more forgiving grind than his 2005 MP-14 similar grind. A lower CG and wider sole is what i'm hearing. Its actually the 675, I think you must be reading golf classic which usually provides slightly outdated info. Checkout the latest Alba, they even say he switched from 665 to 675. This image is from golf classic but the info isn't. Fujikura 675 Click Here I wasn't aware of this but Daisuke Maruyama made it through Q school coming in 7th place yet decided to spend the majority of his season on the JPGA Tour. Click Here

Bridgestone Pro Model blade
Sorry Bud, Thats one old set of irons, there would be no way to get a replacement 4 irons unless someone with a set wanted to get rid of one, Slim chance with this set. I am sorry I also don't know of anywhere that archives the lofts and lies on a model like that. I suggest he gets a driving iron for the long iron and he get the lofts and lies adjusted because they are so old and not to mention forged they are no where near the original specs after all these years.

Why Axiv Shafts are So GOOD...
- Custom Grind MP60/32's ( M Stamps! )
Killed leading edge is better for the steep swinger, its a more blunt and round leading edge which doesnt dig in as easily. Its very good for a player who has a fat hit bad shot. If your poor shot is hit thin i wouldnt suggest it very much. They really couldnt take much offset off. Its barely noticeable compared to retail IMO but its there. Yes PW is D3 to have a better flow into the wedges. BTW guys this set is now in the B/S/T in mint condition.- Would love your guys input
By looking at the response we got some killer suggestions! Very High End! I would however like to add that full face score lines is usually to impart more spin on the ball, which IMO is good. In the 2004 and early 2005 the major OEMs were racing to obtain the lowest CG, least amount of spin and a higher launch, well they backed it off in late 2005/2006 lowering the launch angle, and increasing spin....why? Because it equals more distance with more roll without the sacrafice of consistancy, It also adds a stronger more penetrating ball flight over a trajectory that is a bit more floaty.- Srixon W-606 and I-606 Irons
Srixon usually tests its new clubs out on the JPGA tour miles ahead of release. 2 years ago Tommy Nakashima was using whats now known as the W-505 and this year Srixon Japan staffers are just getting ahold of this new gem of a driver. Could this be the W-606? The H stamps in the cavity are there because this set is Hoshino's.- Is the new AXIV-V shaft release being delayed?
Havent tested enough of them yet but i have a bunch coming in i will be testing. so far my only armrq shaft has played stiffer than stated.- wedges with the most spin
the most bite IMO: . GAS1 Forged w/5 lower illigal sharp grooves ( discontinued ) . X-Wedge limited & Maru Limited wedges with CNC grooves . GAS1 SQBT . Crews Milled . Titleist Spin Milled- What driver heads are these??
There are many differences my friend, the deep is for the slower swing. slightly hook face, lower CG, carbon crown, round toe, and a bunch of other user friendly attributes.- Axiv-V 6066 vs. Adila NV65
Hey Bat, Only time will tell as the V-spec shafts have not even arrived to customers yet.- Would love your guys input
1. MR-23 360cc 2004 and PRGR T3 Black 440cc ( simple pear compact profile ) 2. PRGR T3 ( brushed silver doesnt show scratches, not many engravings ) 3. Full facial score lines with no paint fill. 4. PRGR T3 hosel ( short and classy, looks best with high quality japanese tapered silver line ferrule ) 5. Black and Brushed Silver. 6. KS120, 15-3-3-3, and SP700, driver tech is maxed so it dont matter as much as we may think. 7. No, today we can make the crown ultra light without ruining the sound with carbon. 8. Weight adjustment that only the factory can adjust. 9. Best Sound is G-Field GFT due to foamed head, Tourstage MR-23 & RX-1. Im old school thwack mute. 10. Zero alignment aid BTW, What is your company name and URL?- ***WARNING***To those with WRX accounts! ***PLEASE READ***
TourSpecGolfer replied to DoubleAA's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearTSG has had the holes covered for a couple weeks now. each time IPB sends out an update letter with security patches we jump on it and get them plugged. Thats terrible about WRX, but they were aware of those security vulnerabilities prior to being invaded.- My new Flat Stick...
There is a huge shortage right now of the premium zone putters. I must apologize for the delay gents. This is what is available: #0 in Green - 1 pcs #1 in Orange - 2 pcs M2+ mallet in Black - 1pcs Also you may want to checkout www.teamgfield.com Not officially launched yet but its 100% working for those who want in at ground level.- Is Gauge Design Japan planning on releasing...
The focus is on G-Field this year. I dont think there will be any GDO models coming.- What driver heads are these??
1.Tourstage Synergy Deep 2.Tourstage X-Drive 435 3.Royal Collection C.V Pro- Mizuno MP003 driver
I agree, Mizuno just hasnt had a sensational driver for a while. even back in the 300S days those were not the most forgiving yet very rewarding at impact. I actually like the new Quad shafts more than the ol tour spirit.- HiBore w/Axiv?
The HiBore in Japan comes stock with an Axiv shaft, thats all i know havent tried that one.- Mizuno MP003 driver
I agree and think its joke if any weights are stuck in place. As far as production goes, its a lot cheaper to do internal head weighting. I dont care if we cant change the weight, as long as it serves a real purpose for the tour van or custom dept to use it as an adjustment tool.- what is this armaq shaft
The B62 I have is 65g 4.0 Torque Stiff flex at 272 CPM's with no head. It actually played stiffer than stiff.- what is this armaq shaft
Beres is a Japanese company so yes. This ARMRQ is the 64g standard shaft option.- what is this armaq shaft
Very solid shafts, made in Japan. very popular on the JPGA even with non honma players. excellent kick and we have them available. I will be listing them in the pro shop shortly.- Tour stage VIQ vs G Field CCB
Hey Wes, We are already talking via E-mail. I am Chris.- Mizuno MP003 driver
Guys, Im sorry to say but this import driver is only decent at best. Not the most forgiving IMO and basically plays on par with most others on the market. - Custom Grind MP60/32's ( M Stamps! )
