  1. The Yamaha RMX 116 Driver is 445cc's with a deep face and a more forward and high CG compared to the more forgiving 216 model. It features Yamaha's new dual resilient body what this means is as the ball impacts the face the tail of the driver compresses and decompresses with launch for 6.4yds average more distance. Yamaha RMX 216 Driver is for the player seeking more forgiveness and a higher trajectory. It's 460cc's and designed to be long and straight The new 2016 RMX Fairway Wood now has a cup face and a COR rating of 0.81 getting closer to the limit, it's a trend we will see more and more in fairways and in the future more UT's and Irons. They boast that this FW has the lowest CG point in Yamaha's history with 68g positioned very low. It also incorporates their popular fric off sole thats been around the past couple of models Yamaha's new RMX for 2016 supposedly has better rebound and shape with a thinn 455 stainless face and SUS630 SS body.
  2. Taniguchi has a new set of sticks in the bag, The new Yamaha 116 Tour Blades! more of the same but this year they are talking a lot about the annealing process to make a softer iron. 12% softer is what they claim. Progressive CG design starting low in the long irons and high in the short irons. More to come...

I've hit the VT and own a Ghibli now only things I dislike about them are like Nob said the name but also how they apply parts of the black finish just doesn't seem smooth. Hard to describe but it's been a problem I've noticed for years over multiple Baldo models. Other than that the majority of them are a dense spongy soft feel with a tiny crunch that isn't loud. Distance is mid spin with a penetrating trajectory even on the Ghibli which is their more forgiving model. VT's where pretty forgiving, Ghibli is very. We have their new samples on the way and have a good direct relationship with the brand. Another sleeper iron for mid cappers is the 8C, with it's strong lofts and super soft feel it's got great distance and forgiveness. hope that helps.
  21. Guys I can do a group buy with 5+ shafts, each one would come with a carbon divot tool and run $200 less.
  22. Kuro is visually an upgrade to the 2011's no doubt, same forgiveness with better address. Feel wise Imo they are a touch softer. I'm sure others will chime in later as a ton of people have these. A good sign is how many we have sold compared to how many are letting the Kuro's go in the BST, very few.
