Yes I read the RD plays half to a full flex softer. As for your CPM coment, correct in general and in theory. You CPM measurement is butt only I presume? If yes, I donlt think you are going to have a real effect in real flex for 0.5 to 1 inch. It will bounce or CPM higher no doubt.

I fully agree here Ant. Never got the "this shaft guarantees left side out of play" talk. I can pull any shaft left LOL. To the TS, I think for 95mph, and LY01 R2 flex is way too soft which may contribute to hooks. I say contribute for obvious reasons. I think a normal R or maybe even and SR is better suited to you?

Sorry to hear about this spoon and it looks like you;ve lost the hosel depth which I think is at least 1 inch so be careful with the extra tipping.

I tried the black which I find to be a true low launch and low spin shaft. Big trouble with my Ryoma for me. Not only is the shaft hard to load, due to the low spin of the V spec head couple with the low spin of the Black, many times the ball just died due to too little spin.

Vega, if its any help. Same shaft and ball, the V-Spec 9.5 launches noticeably lower than the AF101 9.5.

I am scouring for a new one at the same time but it seems that Crazy is out of stock so here goes.... looking for a WHITE ONLY Crazy 435 or JBeam FX-BM435 head and h/c only in 10.5* loft and square to 0.5* open face. Will be nice if the head weight if 198-199 grams. This is for my White Mamba project so it must be a WHITE version of the 2 heads. Thanks for looking.

There is a brand called Zeal (from Japan of course) which has (to me) rather cool carry and stand bags IF you like the skull motiff. Not sure who makes it for them though.

At this time based on responses and PMs, I think I'm leaning towards the older 435 in 10.5* with the RD to achieve slightly more hang time and more roll than my Ryoma LY02 setup. Any further thoughts anyone? Thanks so far to those who gave feedback. Tario, will send you another PM soon.

I was reading a long time back that with a lot of patience, elbow grease and some fine grade sand paper, you can actually do it yourself. Then get paint remover and remove the paint fill. Looks very cool actually but I don;t see myself being bothered with the satinizing process. Someone else who has done it and to do it forme.. sure :-)

Give and take. The Crazy takes getting used to no doubt BUT the Ryoma Crazy combo... sometimes I think it ain't gona go and then it flies the center fairway bunker which I have never ever carried before and ends up at the 100 meter mark. I'm usually anywhere at the 130 mark. Have yet to repeat that but I have never done that. Can;t complain about the combo so far but after a get a bite of heaven... you always want more hence the White Mamba project... :-)

try it reshafted in 180 degrees around. Somehow, I found its so so sensitive that way or maybe I was just swinging bad during that week but no topping issues with any of my other clubs. After the re-spine, the flight of the Quadra in teh EGG Spoon is tight, hot, penetrating and long and rools a bunch. Give it another shot.

I really hope so. But overall, I must say it is already performing better consistently and n average when compared to me old combo so no big complaints. Let's se how my White Mamba project does against this Black Mamba :-)

9* 435II plays same loft as 8.5* V-spec. Good info to know. Thanks. Do both shafts play about the same in terms of kick point and launch. And more forgiving than the V-Spec. Interesting. First time I am reading about the forgiveness of the 435II being better than the V-Spec. Thanks for chiming in.
