what would you think of the modus3 from someone used to hitting the 950? i wouldn't mind lowering my flight a tad, and allowing it to penetrate a little better. any distance differences or feel between the two?

i always see topics of tourstage irons and their drivers, but very little if any about their wedges. how is their 2011 X Wedge? why doesn't anyone talk about it compared to the others?

thanks supo. so you're saying that except really for the weight, the 950 and 1050 will pretty much launch similarly? looks like maybe a softstepped 1150 in stiff would give me a similar flex to my 950 then?

thanks for the feedback on the 1150 shafts. turns out now the clubs i may be getting may only offer the 1050 nippon and not the 1150. sorry to pain you guys again, but how different are the 1050?

can someone compare differences i would see of: 1. feel 2. dispersion 3. trajectory 4. length between these shafts, and rank if you could. Nippon 1150 project x flighted kbs tour these are the shafts i am considering. currently play with nippon 950gh but want a little lower shot but still have feel.

the weight of the kbs tours would pretty much match up with nippon 1050 or 1150. is there much difference in flight and feel between similar weighted nippon and kbs?

slightly off the topic, but i currently play nippon ns pro 950 in stiff. higher flight than what is probable ideal. how much lower would going to the original kbs tours give me, as well as do you think they would be any longer?

thanks for the reply. i still have a set of ti iron shafts but not in any clubs at the moment. guess i've heard good and not so good things about them. if you had the choice, would you still go ti or any of the other, newer variety of high quality steel iron shafts?

curious which tourstage irons you got as well and how are those working for you?

not sure if this is the right place to post, but curious how the Bridgestone J38 wedges are? anyone have any input on them? think they would be on par with the tourstage wedges?

things that strike me as the 'hot' items when i joined in were golds factory putters and to a little extent the irons, but also the G-field nc-1 irons right after the gauge design irons. by the way, how do those nc1's rate anymore to the current faves?

question for gochin perhaps: you mention in your blog about how you may do the 905cb set and said something about making them a satin finish or look. How would you go about this? Also, could you compare these as well with the 703 cavity backs? Great looking sets for both the cb and mb. hope to see the video soon.

any chance you'll try the TM with a better shaft? maybe that would give you the additional yards you are losing? for grins, have you ever hit an adams 9064 yet?

Seems the talk lately has been the Ryoma and a bit about the Kamui driver square-offs. Can anyone tell me how or where the Tourstage 705 fares against these two? I really haven't seen any reviews or testimonials about the tourstage. Just wonder who has hit it and their impressions. thanks

i actually had a set of the same yonex myself. didn't really use them much but i agree, they are great looking at played well. i didn't think they were all that small.

Has anyone here heard from Jeff (IDrive) recently? I don't see any new posts from him in a couple months. In fact, I was in contact with him back in October just a day before I went to Las Vegas and we had planned to hook up, but messages all of a sudden weren't returned. I've emailed him and nothing back. Hope all is ok with him. I know he's been traveling and enjoying his retirement, but odd that he hasn't made any contact in so long.

i was supposed to hook up with him last week in vegas. had spoken to him once or twice before the trip and left many messages but haven't heard back. i wish we could have hooked up again.

pics still look great, but the relative size is kinda throwing me off. i pm's gochin but forgot to ask(and sorry this is unrelated to the GR) is if the epon 502 and the ts703 would be a sim. size comparison?

thanks henry. hard to say actual size in comparison, but they do look very good. would like to know size in relation to the 07 forged VIQ. hope to hear a review soon.
