  1. Sold pending funds. Thanks Chris and TSG.
  2. For the record, I don't have money to throw away, but more importantly, I don't have time to throw away. If you had sent me a PM asking why it was extra I would have explained, and, most likely, lowered the price; instead, you chose to share the details of our pending deal w/ everyone on the forum. As a person of principle, I will happily eat the $70 to give someone more respectful of my privacy a great deal.
  3. Thanks for the public reply. For your information, overseas shipping requires me to take one hour of my time to go to a US post office and ship. My time is valuable. I usually FedEx or UPS right from my office, and it takes no time. As my listing says, the price was US only. Ask the other TSGers who have bought from me, and they have always paid much less than I did and received clubs better than described. In honor of David, who chose to call me out on the forum, the price for the first US BUYER is now reduced to $240. David, good luck finding this club in this condition at this price :-)
  4. Yup... check your mail!
  5. As several have asked, the shaft was completely brand new when installed.
  6. "Super CV BBD", "Super SS Pro 15* RC +4" all marked on the bottom. Of course this is the original version of the Sonartec clubs available in the States. Shafted on 42.5" Fuji Tour Release 27.3 in stiff flex; Golf Pride tour velvet grip. No headcover is included with this club (I did not get one and was told they do not come w/ this RC). Outstanding condition, with hairline scratches on the sole and normal wear on the face. Paint is perfect - no skys. Price shipped UPS (to US destination) and paypaled is $125.
  7. Reduced one more time - $310.
  8. Thanks Zojo... Price reduced.
  9. I will offer a differing view... while I loved the putter at address (much more than any of the other alignment aid putters), I hated the teflon coating. But I guess to try to switch from a Bettinardi DASS to a teflon coating was dumb on my part. Stainless steel putters are so much more crisp and precise... the teflon has such a muted feel it is not for me. That muted quality makes distance control much more difficult IMO. I think its best attribute is aligning the putt. The 3 white lines also help make for a consistent stroke. I am now using the SM490A which is very comparable in feel to the Bettinardi, and i guess it is just what I am used to. When this putter is available w/ a milled steel face, I will give it another go. Better yet, a SM490A version... how 'bout it Chris?
  10. 45", tour velvet grip, headcover is completely new in condition. Club has minimal sole marks and the face is very clean. Paint is perfect - no skymarks or dings. Only selling because my Nakashima NP1 suits me better on the NV65. This club is longer for me but the 661 favors a smoother tempo than mine. Shipped and paypaled to US locations for $240.
  11. Sold at $220!! The buyer was so nice and no-nonsense that I knocked off $10. Love those smooth transactions... anyone out in Cali better watch out for Mike C70, because he is going to be rolling them in from all over... enjoy it Mike!
  12. Price reduced one more time! $230 shipped and paypaled.
  13. Thanks d**k... Price reduced to $250.
  14. Headweight and or swingweight? Yes, it has those. Seriously though - I don't know! It is a putter. It is whatever Gauge Japan makes as standard. Feels pretty normal to me. Maybe Chris can tell us exactly... but I do seem to recall the headweight is stated as "362 - 365 grams" in their catalog.
  15. Thanks FAQ... it is so solid, but the SM490A has got me. Price reduced to $275.
  16. Well, I have firmly decided on the SM490A. So for sale is the 34" M3+. It has the black ion grip. Only putted a few on the carpet, so it is indistinguishable from new. I will throw in a free red ion grip, which would look dynamite on this piece w/ all the red calipers and red G on the face. Of course comes w/ the Gauge headcover and the plastic headcover from the factory. Price shipped and paypaled to US destinations is $230.
  17. Hard to say... the Gauge bag is definitely lighter, and I suspect would be more comfortable to carry for 18. It also has a fairly good size top; in the one pic that looks a bit crowded I stuck an empty putter headcover in there. No crowding issues on either bag.
  18. Well, after irons and putters, had to get this too. Very nice touch coming w/ matching headcovers for driver and two woods. I had previously bought the Tourstage bag. I think the TS bag feels a little more durable, and the GD bag is a bit plusher. Both about the same size, w/ a few more divided pockets on the TS bag. The big pocket on the GD is accessible from three different openings and is large enough to stash just about anything. Still play on a regular basis w/ the Ogio EXO, but these import staff bags are the real deal.
  19. Agree, and BTW Mike, thanks for bringing back the best avatar on the site!!
  20. #6 w/ the Gauge "G"!
  21. Wow... great response Chris. Thanks for the info. BTW, what are the major differences between the steels - 303, 304, GSS, & SM490A? Obviously, I love the latter, but wonder the major differences.
  22. To specifically address one of your thoughts, the SM490A is perfectly face balanced while the Bettinard is toe heavy a good bit. I have never had a problem putting w/ the Bettinardi, but that is one thing I was going to explore in terms of feel.
  23. Well, I currently own a Bettinardi custom tour BB18, and recently acquired a M3+ and the very limited SM490A tuned by Golds factory. To compare apples to apples, I will leave the M3+ out of the comparison. But before I do, I will comment that it is extremely well made in terms of the machining and assembly. And very solid at impact - not as soft as the others but more solid. The BB18 and SM490A are both blade style. The Bettinardi has a short neck connection to the heel and the Gauge has a slant neck w/ full offset. Obviously, they are different setups. Quality wise, I could not say which one is better constructed. They are both superb. I have never held a tour Cameron, but the retail ones are not made like these two samples IMO. But they also cost hundreds less, so maybe it is not fair to say. The feel is actually similar between the two - soft and crisp. The Gauge is softer; the Bettinardi almost feels "springier". I tend to like very little offset on my putter, and that is why I selected the BB18. The Gauge is more of an experiment for me. Putters are so personal in choice. Many guys probably have junk putters and are awesome. But I am a huge fan of quality in anything, and as far as putters go,the Gauge is certainly in the league of the Bettinardi.
  24. I listed the Eldik for two reasons. One, I personally do no need an "alignment aid" putter as I refer to them for accuracy. I usually seem to get the ball on line OK w/ a blade. I bought it because I like the design principle of moving the weight to the upper rear of the center. And it does roll the ball very well. Secondly, I am so used to my DASS Bettinardi that the teflon coated Eldik provides a different feel that I personally do not like as much. Both the M3+ and SM490A are crisper to me, and more what I like. I used to have a two-ball, but never liked the insert. Of all the alignment aid putters I have tested in store, I think the Eldik is hands down the best. If they should someday make a version w/ a milled steel face, I would try it. Until then, the other three putters I have are more than enough!
