Mmmm, I still have that FEX FW sitting there doing nuthin, but the reported lack of workability off the tee would be a deal breaker for me. Stew can you get it to draw ok from the tee? Not fussed from the fairway, I'm generally trying to hit it hard n straight.

my 50, 54 & 60 vokey forged just arrived today, the grind does look impressive and versatile. they're with my guy getting bent (loft & lie that is!) and having WV's and gripmasters installed, looking forward to give em a run!

I have never bagged any of the 500 or 700 series but certainly tested all models extensively to assist with recommendations. IMO the 702 is better that it's predecessor but I can't swing either of them, too big. The 501 is/was a beautiful iron, a bit clicky compared to the 300 and tour models but a very nice iron. The 502 is interesting, rediculously easy and just stupid long, really really long. Size wise, a bit larger than what I prefer to look at, but the performance is insane. The trouble I had with these is that at the scoring end of the bag I didn't have a short iron to hit because the 9 iron went so damn far. I can totally see why a 502/302 combo would work for many if you could tweek them to get the yardage gaps right.

I was wondering when you'd try these Stew, from the pics they also reminded me of the Yonex cyber man or nano whateveritis. I think TSG should have a star rating on each iron offering in the proshop with the star rating based on whether you'd game them for coin vs the Baron!

these are hard to resist.......i gave in the other day..........given a couple of people whose opinion I respect recon they're even EASIER to hit than AF-Tour......i have to try them. I'm thinking the Monaco shafts and I'll put these head to head with the AF-Tour/KBS and 302/NS 2f15 sets. my bag is undergoing some morphing.....I dont change up my game bag much so the additions will have to be (and are expected to be) really something. i'm going to give a full report in about a month once ive had time to bed it all down
