Cool club, I always think of Baldo as being similar to A Grind…..fair comparison?
  3. No idea sorry but it prompts me to ask if anyone has a source for Fourteen ferrules?
  4. Nice collection. Your RC Made me go and get my Sonartec 15deg out from my stash, this was a mainstay in my bag for quite a few years, maybe should give a go again just for old time sake…..nothing but good memories from this club.

I’ve been around here, on and off a few years…… I’ll say one thing for TSG, they always supplied and shipped without any problems to me. Sure you paid top dollar but I never minded because they were reliable and problems were always dealt with and communication was always prompt. I miss Tario too…… …….. I just wish Chris would mend the fence and supply Epon again.
  6. I’ve been a bit of a putter freak over the years including Scotty GSS Bettinardi days etrc. And none have been as good feeling as that Golds.......I just found the weight a little too much for me. The finish, of the satin and polished with minimal graphics is so classy......
  7. I think I was the original owner of the Golds.........regrets, I’ve had a few.........
  8. No matter what......Epon always garners a lot of press. these are not for me but I like them
  9. 52 58 for me.....

Iomic x grips for me..... I have a 'thing' for putter grips, always searching...searching....... Currently using Elite rs74 and Iomic standard....... I see that there is a new version of the 74, the RS60 .........want
  11. Or any other kind of adjustment.... if it's like the 3 wood it will be a good buy......
  12. Interesting that there is no hosel adjustability for the driver......
  13. Is that the silver one with thin vertical green lines? If so I had one in TS x drive....... And I could attest to the low torque....... Way too much shaft for this mortal
  14. been using one for a coup,e of months now...... Solidly in the bag, 15 deg 3 wood. With GD AD MJ shaft....... For me it does exactly what I wanted it to do......,replace a very aging Sonartec(RC). Wasn't sure about the Matt finish at first but have got used to it, but shape and feel are totally reminiscent of The Sonartec. Trajectory & distance can be so affected by shaft selection I hesitate to comment other than to say my combination gives a mid trajectory and I use a 3 wood for accuracy, not so much distance. Having said that I feel this combo is longer than the Sonartec Fuji that it replaces..... Shines off the decK. Would recommend.......
  15. 330-340 @ 34" for me......I was brought up in the PiNG era..........350 always makes me conscious of the weight........ Irrespective of green speed.
  16. It was only a matter of time....... Looks good.
  17. Rust can be removed with a scotch rite pad or steel wool.....
  18. So I've played a Sonartec ss07 for years, nothing could pry this boy out of the bag.....looks shape sound/feel all added up to the one club that could not be replaced, even had it refinished a couple of times it was that good. a few weeks ago I stumbled across some pics of the A grind fairway wood and was immediately attracted to it, further investigation revealed the link to RC, which was probably the source of my attraction. So I bought one and had a GD MJ installed. Took it out and have used it for a few rounds now. appearance..... Wasn't sure I'd like the Matt crown, but it has grow on me.The head shape is exactly the kind of thing I like, not too big, not too small, in fact is larger than the Sonartec but really in comparison with the latest FWs it is still pretty compact. Still not sure that the black face and sole is really me but I can live with it. The face depth and shape is Perfection to my eye, tall enough for teebox work but from the deck it is shallow enough to inspire confidence. Address appearance is something I don't have to think about which is what I am looking for, it certainly does not look closed at all but neither does it look open, it just sits there waiting to be smashed..... Sound/ feel absolutely reminiscent of RC Sonartec and I love the ting that echos round a tree lined fairway......Steel is real for Fw woods for me. Performance, don't really want to comment too much on this as the shafts are completely different but I have no concerns with distance or trajectory....... Workability is not an issue either. In short I am rapidly growing in confidence with this club and thinking this really is a solid replacement for the Sonartec.

I have an old TS MR23 driver that is foamed...... It has the same sound/feel as you describe. I think if you played it enough and exclusively, you'd get used to it...... But probably best to move on..... But hey you learnt something along the way.
  20. Sonartec ss7 3 wood, FUjikura rombax 7v05 ..... had it refinished several times, cannot find anything better. Got an A-grind head on the way....... We'll see
  21. Really nice.... But less shiny would be even better

have had RM 11, 12 and a 21....... Best feeling was 12, has led me to wonder if the 21 is still forged, can't find out if it is or not from their website. Whatever, Fourteen make great wedges
