What is the weapon 'du jour'??...... of ones I've seen/hit of late, I'm liking the Titleist, but am interested in alternatives. I'm falling out ot love with my 2-iron and due to work commitments blaha blah not playing enough and therefore swinging well enough to hit it right now. Plus after a weeks golfing in the Portugese Algarve, I know I need something with a higher traj/softer landing. Thanks to anyone chiming in!

I have both sets.....They are quite similair although I have different shafts in each so the comparison is not apples to apples.... Looks - at address not much (I actually prefer the transition to PW in the Z101). Forgiveness - Z101's slightly. Offset - nothing that I can see. Playability - mmm tough one, when I'm swinging well the X blade cavities just pip the z101's but vice versa when I'm a little off. They really are very close ...... either would be a good choice. Hope this helps a little?

I guess that's why (some) OEM's have concentrated on the ball, they can improve the performance whereas clubs have been 'maxed' out. I guess it will take only so long for the General public to cotton on to the fact that their latest 'must have' wonderclub actually performs no better than it's predecessor.....although the faction that must play what their respective hero plays will still continue to purchase. None of these rumours will change my belief that Japanese products look/feel and are better made and therefore superior (to me) than US OEM offerings. Where it was forged is irrelavant if it feels and plays well, I guess it does matter to some though?
