Want to say Chiro or Bogey had a thread on this wedge. As to being anti hook, just guessing, but maybe the extra heel side weight prevents a premature closing/hooding of the face...

Glad you are enjoying in the garden. After playing more with these wedges, I have gotten accustomed to the feel during the swing transition. The odd item for me is that on full swings I find distance to be inconsistent, but I am able to control distance very well with shots up to 85% of full...

You might give the RomaRo Pro Forged a shot. Alternately the Bucchi irons are supposed to be fully customizable as well.

I'll trade ya straight up for the Crazy MBs you just got from Spoon...

My point about the length is that, even though the playing length is the same on all of them, if you pulled the shafts and measured raw length they would all be different based on the hosel to ground and insertion depth measurements...

I think the Yam is more carry less roll than the 388. Overall distance I would give to the 388. Also a pure strike on either is a pure strike, I would think the poorer ball striker will opt for the 388. The better striker will opt for whichever they think looks better at address... Have a v203 with Roddio S6X, great combo.

Experienced that with a QFE Proto. Also, it causes shafts not to be able to move from head to head with same length spec. Moved the QFE from the Crazy 435 to my S-Yard 388 and it played .5" shorter.

I have one of the Elite grips with the balance insert. Am able to adjust the balance point up or down some. Like it a lot...
