Syard T388....Bought into the hype...u
Agreed. I usually tee the ball with barely any of the ball surpassing the crown of the club. As the 388 is not a deep faced driver it seems lower than normal but in relation to other drivers face depth, quite consistent...

QFE Proto SX
I have a 65X and playing it at 44" in the S-Yard is about as stiff as I can take. I have to go at it on every shot and I prefer to be a little smoother in my swing... Not sure if the increased weight increases the tautness as seems to be common across shaft makers. As such a 75X has me a little concerned. Thanks though.

Yet more T.388 Feedback
I tee this thing with none of the 90% of the ball below the top of the face and have been getting good results now that it is resifted… I think even with deeper face drivers I don't tee the ball with much of it higher than the crown of the club...

The Honeymoon is Over!!! Reviewing the Jbeam 435
I just don't go to the range, so it will be on course. Also I only carry one driver in a round so it will take several days...

The Honeymoon is Over!!! Reviewing the Jbeam 435
Just got my Crazy 435 back from a rebuild. Found the hosel height and deeper bore stiffened up the shaft too much so had to do a swap. Put a Diamana X 60 S in it and am going to start alternating between in and my 388 with the QFE Proto 65X. Oddly, the QFE that got pulled from the Crazy head only played to 44" in the SYD even though it was playing to 44.5" in the Crazy...

If they are played then you could polish them occasionally, but that is a bit much in my opinion. If raw, then you could use sword oil.

Let's compare TourStage 709 Drivers!
I can only go by looks, unless you want to send me a demo in an SX - X flex... The comparison to the SYard lineup was not about design objective, more about hiding the volume based on head shape. Again from the pictures, the XV while significantly larger than the 388, it seems appears to be all tied up in the face depth. Similar to what is shown on the 430 709. I don't think they could have kept the elongated face of the 450 and deeper back while keeping the depth of the 430 face. The combination would be over 460, compromises would have to be made. As to having similar designs, they do have a MB, MC CB in the irons why not do something matching in the woods. Would be curious to see differences between the 909 and the 709 X-Drives... Any idea on loose shaft adapters? My biggest complaint about these adjustable drivers is the inability to get the sleeves for the shafts...

Let's compare TourStage 709 Drivers!
430 looks way better and appears to have a deeper face. Are they selling loose shaft adapters? While cc wise they are very similar, I don't think a 440 would allow them to split the difference. The face depth on the 430 seems to be where all the volume is at kinda like the XV to .338 comparison to the XT…

Miura Giken's new CB-2007 Forged Cavity Back
Price for you is higher because the flat black are gonna keep your crappy iron play under the radar, that is a huge ask from any club and finish...

Tourstage 909. Vs yamaha tour blades
Agreed on the compare to the Miura blade. I think you will find the Yam significantly more forgiving than the 909. Also the Yam might be a tad longer, but that also might be the shafts talking. Believe the lofts to be the same across both sets so hard to believe it is the head. Lastly, I think I have the opposite thought on feel compared to the Yam. Yams are crisper than 909, 909s are denser feeling. Again could be shaft but don't think so here...

Your dream set of Kobayashi Irons.....
I'll play again. Take the TS905, make it feel like the TS909, size it like the Miuraism SB01 mill the face and give it a raw finish. Traditional lofts with only degree stamps shortest club at 50*. Like Chris' idea of offering 24* and 21* hybrid like irons that fit the design ethos.

S-Yard XV vs T.388 vs XT - Official Comparison Thread!
Glad you are liking, but I would be wary if your SS ref'd above is accurate, you will be out swinging the stock S flex shaft as well...

Iron shafts
You're playing an X flex now, damn. Those roids been treating you well? Still counting with fingers though and not hoof stamps, right?

the sign you have a great driver!
I'm gonna set the over/under on 11 rounds paying even under... Also, I take it you don't think that scuff marks impact anything or do you spend so much in gear you can't buy a new ball after every 3rd round?

Yamaha V forged 2013 vs Onoff forged 2013
I am confused. Your title of the thread does not align to the question you asked in the first post. What are you looking to compare?
