  1. I have been down your path and still have a Yonex EZone 13* with a Crazy 50 Sigma Noir at 44" in 8.2 that I use on occasion for tight courses when I haven't been driving well. Kasco, at least made a 12.5* but I have found nothing lower lofted with a FW head unless you go back to persimmon. What I have done is shorten my drivers to no longer than 44.5 and tried to find sub 400 cc heads. That has improved my driving and the accuracy thereof as well as given me a few extra yards because I am able to control the head so much better and get the sweet spot more frequently. The distance gap for me is about 15 yards, but there is something inherently better about nutting a driver than nutting a 3wd. Feel, sound, ball flight for some reason is just better. Psychological I am sure, but... At the end of the day .5" and ~4* is the equivalent of 10-15 yards of distance, think standard gaps on your irons. So if the COR on your 3 wd is the same as your driver and you are playing .5" length difference that is about right. If however the COR on your driver is higher then you need to improve your driving skills as you are leaving yards in your bag...
  2. I would imagine he was talking about the actual weight… Is it a changeable weight, or do they just use it during mfg to fine tune? Can other weights be purchased, what does changing it impact, etc...
  3. This might be a cool thing for TSG forum folks... Ability to compare to each other and potentially small competitions if we got creative... http://igg.me/at/gamegolf/x/2762102 Not to mention if enough of you go I could win a prize...
  4. Having played various Crazy shafts at 8.2 and 7.7 I think the Diamana X 70 S is more in line with the 8.2. At least in regards to feel through the swing. The Diamana is definitely a lower launcher than the Crazy shafts I have tried but believe that to be a design choice rather than my inability to load the shaft properly.
  5. Has a nice compact look to it but I still prefer the look of the iBrid and ONOFF Type S with the two tone top. It gives a more iron like look. Not as big a deal on the 18* a more traditional 5 wood but for the 3 and 4 iron replacements definitely preferred.
  6. Not sure how the graphite putter shaft will play. Thought it would be fun to try. Can appreciate the different preferences on head shape, I think the putter more than any other club holds to the "different strokes for different folks" rule. So much variability in what works for people.
  7. The issue arose when bending the neck for the offset. Trying to figure out if there are other options then single block. Would like to keep the shebang copper vs. an SS neck... Thanks for the info Pete.
  8. This is my 3rd Slighter and agree with him being customer focused and producing great putters… I have not actually hit the putter yet, just got the putter complete photos today. He said it is awesome, what else would he say though. But I have really enjoyed his other creations so am fully expecting it to be tremendous...
  9. Agreed, I credit the Zen with getting me into this shape putter. Since got the Betti and this one. It is a great shape and have great distance control even on varied green types...
  10. Yup… Was worried when I first saw the thing chrome plated but polished down is fantastic...
  11. So ran into some issues with the copper putter head and while there is research going on related to the best way to make it, had this done instead… Can't wait to start rolling a few with this beauty... This is the raw material…: Became this: Turned into: And finally became:
  12. Believe him to be getting the '13 ONOFF
  13. I guess that's and you ar bending the heads on the NS750s. My preference is a more piecing trajectory, but am guessing you don't generate heaps of spin so you'll end up with more roll out on the stronger lofts v I think all things considered I'd go shorter shaft stronger lofts.

The snow on the ground really makes the red on the head pop. GLWS
  15. I have an Adams 16* Pro A12 and a RomaRo 21* if you are interested. Believe them to be 370 or could have the hosels bored if needed. PMme if interested.
  16. Think the V203 is softer...
  17. Try this link...
  18. How can these still be here?
  19. I thought the newer ones came from a different foundry... Have to check the recent video...
  20. Almost afraid to ask, but what about the Gold's wedges?
  21. Thanks Charge. That clicky feel is what I am trying to get away from. Do you have the plated or the black oxide?
  22. Am considering one more set of wedges besides the Bolds and was wondering on the feel of the new Fourteens. I like the idea of a higher CoG. Also would like to get a similar dense feeling to the Yam '11 and Crazy Toyo's.
  23. If someone wants to donate a Diamana X 70s to me I can do the Zero, 388, Crazy 435 test with same shaft. Then all I need is the Mizzy on loan and can do all four.
