right............, to be honest i was a bit underwhelemd by the piccys of these when they were first leaked a few weeeks ago. i couldnt get my head around what was going on in the cavity they appeared all diablo esque and slashy. i feared my beloved yams had fallen victim to mass-marketing bru-haha. i was goinmg to let this yrs go thru to the keeper . i was convinced even before id seen them i would be SHOULDERING ARMS like sir viv against sir dennis at the WACA circa 1976. then low and behold, i stumbled upon them on saturay afternoon after taking the kids too the zoo. how is this possible i hear u ask ? UENO the hub of golf in japan. everything thats ever been made in JP is prob somewhere around there. you just need to know how to find it. so there i was looking for a set of new plastic clubs for my boy tom. and the entire line of yamaha 2012 is stearing me in the face. i was stopped dead in my tracks. plastic wil have to wait a cpl of monents! didnt pay too much attentiion to the non tour version, bec they aint for me , however i did get a good enough look at them to see they look like they will be such a balanced easy to hit club. my atention was elsewhere the TOURS. i stared long hard and striaght into thier eyes. Alice and the jabberwock, looking for the flaw, seeking, searching ,scouring , HOPING to find the reason i wont be buying these this yr and a once again sending my wife to the brink of depair . i was hoping agaisnt hope for a fault. alas........................., there was none. they look to me like a meld of the 2008 and the 2011. the perimeter weighting stlye of hte 2008s and the punchy vetical power muscle of the 2011. and they built this in a most extraordianry way. the power triangle is like an inveted wedge the wedge goes , not out form the back of the club but back into the club, its impossible to describe , iam far too poor a wordsmith to portray this look with any degree of acccuracy . suffice to say it was a beautiful look. the awful slash and grind i thought was there. simply , and mercifully wasnt there. now that face. the millions of tiny xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 's on the face. these things im sure arnt there to look pretty, they must be htere to impalnt lots of spin on the ball now came cruch time, the most important and underrated scientific procedure of all golf clubs design . the "in the shop waggle" a nod of the head with the shop keeper ., that unspoken acceptance that we were on the same page , we KNEW something good when we saw it. i was in love. oh yes dear frends THESE 2012s WILL BE MINE..........................!

yea i hit some of my best drives with this head and hte quadra fex 65xs some absolute beauties dont know why this got me going agn, was just seeing the old classic i nthe bag all ebat up. that matrix 60s shaft is an absolute piece of poo like a string of cooked spaggetti. horrible thing. i m gonna put the fex back in it for the charrengey see how she goes.

fort worth i had these for 1 session on the range i askded everyone on wrx said ft worth

my buddy recently returne my old adams 9015 d a4 driver to me , and it rekindled some absolutely magic moments in driving. i used this driver before i made my foray in to JDM and shafted it after i found the quadra fire express with a 65xs my returned driver is shattered so i bought another head yesterday to do a head to head with whithout a doubt the best non JDM driver id ever picked up with my current stocks to see if and what the main discernable differnces are. as far an non JDM products go, adams would be the only brand id consider in woods, every one ive hit , ive hit well but they only thing i remember is that they arnt the best feeling clubs . thats kinda moot tho iof it goes it goes..! i get this next week so ill get it up and running soon thinking of putting a crazy noir in it that should be a good taster just for a coke Vs pepsi kinda thing........., results soon

man oil these . buy a tube of golds sword oil do it now it smlles great it isnt wd40! and do it after they have been in the wet. or if they have been dormant for a while i redo my raw wedges about every 6 weeks just a light coat with a dry rag let it sit over night the look is amazing once done. keeps them looking new all the time.

what a marvellous review. hat off to you sir. very nice to read. very nice indeed. and what a fantastic choice u made those clubs will test you but the rewards are most satisfying. the 8-9-pw in these heads are LETHAL when ur on. the grips are fantasitc aswell, they go well in the wet and they offer a bit more roughenss than the stickys they are my choice. shafts well id think these are damn fine choices for these heads, i struggeld a bit with my choice o nthese, tried a few but couldnt get satisfied, i thikn these are an excellent choice. jason shud chime in here any time soon, hes got a set as well. fair play. shoot low.

try them u will LOVE them. ive just decided imgoing to have to get the 2012s as well might be a set of 2011s or 2010 s for sale soon to usher the new ones in. still gotta see them i nthe flesh tho. now. if only i cud get a demo????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

im so glad i never bought into that green lime thing, i almost did. then i found quadra thankfully. demolitionman, what a ledgend, banning himself. thats pure ive oft. thought about it myself, its does get consuming, my wife is adamanat ive become a stranger in the cave. and that i prefer to live amonst carbon sitcks ,and forged steel with rubber tops. she thinks thats odd!
