T i just read ur blurb on this diver , i amlost regurgitated it word for word. thats done, this driver is tops. might get me some reduced anaesthetic costs if i ever have to go back under the knife in future if he hits this long.

Gents..., i need to get a retirement present for somone whos off to play golf for , well ever hopefully. hes 65 in good shape but not an athletic guy. THIS is what im thinking..............., i was at an indoor simulator driving range recently with some custies(. lord knows how much these things cost but id say a grillion buzzillion trillion goolge would be somwhere close to the mark.),they have moevable platforms for lies, a plethora of the latest and greatest equipment, play any course on the planet. shoes, gloves, all serviced by the most beautiful kawaii J-pop idols as hostesses in preopsterously short pink flowery skirts, pig tailed hair and gigantic mahoooosive dragon tattoos down their necks and backs, ................. , beer , sake ,sho-chu, chu hi , whiskey a plenty, fantastic food.here to say this simulator makes tiger woods golf on PS look like 'atari pong" club-wise , they dont have much at all in stiff flex bec the majority of the clientelle are prob the folk that get johhnie shacho nissan president cars to the diet bldg every day ,and decide the policy of this island. so S clubs arnt plentifull. luckily i found one, the XXIO 2010 driver. this driver had my attention . is probably the easiest simplest thing i think ive ever hit.! the shape is a hooooooooooooge rounded sleek elongated gigantic face , it didnt seem to matter where i hit it the ball on the face it felt good its light as a feather it had the stock mumbler shaft in it that felt as stiff as a stick of spagetti (after cooking!! ) and deliverd a shot ive been searching for with my drivers for a yr, allbeit a thousand time higher than id like but an arcing draw on every shot. . i am thinking of this as the present so he can enjoy his retirement and play golf with a really great driver. id thought about it but beore i jump in i need some real world advice from guys that play this style club regularly. of all the easy to hit , more relaxed style drivers ive hit ,i think this is close to the best . onoff red, srixon z star, yamaha d superlong, these spring to mind, im not sure if many guys have tried this, or if its popular , but if your not a 270 darn the pipes guy and just need to hit a nice driver this MUST be up there. no ? gents, does this sound about right..? anything esle i need to look at?
  10. i just had a thought back to the other nights driver session. i have my black 101 with a 75s quadra and its a lot higher than the crazys and yamaha. i was hitting it considerably higher, its a more soaring flight with that head i found. skip u use x right , i havnt hit an x in quadra but the xs is DEF tighter than the s the 75s is prob a flex to soft for me. hence i was getting more lift compared to the yamaha and the crazies. the tighness is NEVER in question with quadra, but i found the S flex is def a higher shot, and def higher than the 102 and my others. another good one , is GD di 7 ,thats got a decent midish flight to it.
  11. the main diffs are , the sound, that "ting" has gone replaced by a more "normal" swoosh. its more aerodynamic and i think its slightly higher launching a bit easier to get to land softly. the feel is a bit more muted, distance wise, im pretty sure the old one is longer . i think the new one is better of the fairway than the old one . easier to pick clean the old one DEF better from a tee. is it better over all? , hmmmmmm im not 100% convinced it is. i love it i MUST have one available at all times esp in japan! either one is good tho , it depends on what i need to do and which course. im gonig to actually go the new 17* route. for a more fairway wood shot rather than a spoon shot. the roy colls and my yamaha , i just hit too well form a tee. im palying a lot more 3 woods of tees these days. and i prefer the traditional shapes better.form a tee if i had to have just one egg and no rmore, id take the NEW 17* and play it with the crazy 80 fw. after hitting a million of them last yr. thats my optimal egg.
  12. BB theres none about mate, im trying to find one, hens teeth, if i can sourse one ill get it for ya theres a lot of 18* and 15* but 17 was sold out in a heart beat. ill put an order in and see if i cant get ya one.
  13. the 1050 are awsome! mine are an x flex i only learnd 2 nights ago after hitting all my shafts these are just too light but the feel? just perfectamundo can not recomend these enough. i had mine sst pured and put them in my zone sprout irons, that is one hell of a combo. JUST i prefer the heavier shafts now of the SP blue. the step up to 1050 from 950 will be fine , ull get a tighter dispersion and a more stingy kick, flight is still high but they dont loose it and as i said yesterday the bad shot dispersion is vey good. i went to the SP to bring my flight down and slow my tempo, both haveworked very well. i hit my 7 short of 170 , 9 iron goes just short of 150. an the 1050 were spot on the money with these distannces.
  14. i was going to say quadra as well. but the lowness of it balked me. tightness and dispersion is unquestionable. the 9003 def is higher than the quadra and tightness throw a blanket over them . the quadra feels a lot BETTER but its a diff price point. if ur after a sliightly higher launch with softer feeling slower ss flex roddio m6 or m7 seriosly good . 'i have a s6X in oz and i was impressedby it in the wind not many people know about roddio i can assure you they are top end! but for you if yr worreid about the 9003 x then the quadra65 sx or 75 s as good as there3 is
  15. Pete get the Gd P9003x i have one inmy yamaha its frcken terrifc at that price its in the final for as good as it gets swing hard tho it handles everything with class and respect 9.999999/10
  16. mate im gonna stack the course and watch u sweat it out! give me a few days heads up an as ill need to pre book it , just cant turn up here and play, usually need to get something on the book by tues that week or ill struggle. mate i heard its moving down the coast. never seen anything like it. that snow i was promsing is here in unbelievable amounts , its rediculous!

i have had the gripmastes on my kyoeis for a few weeks, lordy lord they are the tackiest things ever. make super glue look like a bar of soap!. they are really think tho. really really think. gonna swap them back to the pefect pro cords for this set. if i use chunky irons like the epon 302s then these wil suit them beautifully,im thinking if i use thin baldes then the thinner grips suit me better. the epon 30s and the x evols blues (thin) arnt the best match. but the grip master might be terrifico.
  20. ive tired a ton of differnt shafts in both new and old eggs. kali, a cpl of differnt flex quadras , cpl of oziks, steel, fubuki, stock, all of them really really good shafts. for what i want the egg for , long balls to par 5s the crazy fw 80 suits the new egg perfectly. it takes out just a bit of the height u get (, you can also hit low shots with this ) , but for long chasing rolls , the quadra is best for this ive found. i took the old egg 13* with a quadra 75s cut driver shaft and my new egg -crazy 15* to a brute of a links course on the central coast of NSW (magenta shores, god its just brutal!) and hardly used a driver. the 13* i hit so low and piercing as a driver replacement and the 15* as the long ball to the green which i had to hit a LOT on par 4s. no problems at all. no balooning, no blowing off the course. these in tandem worked beautifully, the driver i just couldnt control into the cyclone. the eggs held thier own. the 13* was easily as long as my driver as well. it rolled for ever. that beauty has served its purpose for me ,no good in japan, no roll. the new egg crazy combo, 2 thumbs up !

tks C.., the miuras are my bigest worry. thsoe heads and ijus t seem to get long realy nicely. butthe shafts arnt ofr me, but htat feel is so good, ill chuck a set of the ns 1150 s in them i think that might be a great idea. the kyoei heads palyed sensationally with the 1050 x i nthem but too light that extra litte bit might do the trick. im waiting for those modus3s thae are going in the AF tours for sure!

last night i took a 7 and a 9 iron out to the range and hit super peening blue, orange, ns 950 gh kbs tour stiff ns pro 1050 x dg s 200 project x 6.0 perfect conditions no wind very chilly. but perfect for ball striking. hit em all very well. the super peening blue .........,were the straightest and most direct iron. lower flight and could go dead straight at the flag with the least movement and distance was spot on. leaky shots did not bend they missed straight. no point trying to move these about, just aim at a target and they will go there. the ns 950..........., felt the best, light and super easy to hit , high flight , my swing speed was faster and moveability was super easy, distance seemed spot on leaky shots bend like beckham tho .love these just too light. kbs tour .......,. distancehmmm, , a cpl over shot a long way with the 7 iron in the sakamotos . the aftours seemed perfect tho. movebility better than the SP, not a lot but just enough, heavy shaft very direct, leaky shots were pretty tight. in the af tours they were pretty high shots i n the sakamotos they were very low and tight. not great feel tho. no real response form these. but very reuslts good . rethinking these. in the aftours these are really good, not so great in the sakamotos tho. ns pro 1050x...,lighter than the kbs and SP x flex is superb. good shots felt money, missed shots moved a lbit pro b bec they are light , distance loss in a cut shot was accpetable , thi9nking the 1150. would be a better weight , feel wise tho.. MONEY project x flighted satin 6.0...., feel is fantastic. got a real snap in the tip . distance control wasnt as good as the others some were short by a way cuts were off b a big margin tho. biggest loss of distance. turn the hands over too much and the ball soars off left. , were the least direct and dispersion was definatly the largest. but the feel oh the feel! super peening orange......,( 4 iron ) love this, first proper work out with it. a higher flight than the blue for certain. stil lheavy but punched thru the shots with great accuracy and feel. cud draw and fade a small amount with precision and confidence. terrific shaft in a long iron. misses were tight distance control seeemd perfect. really liked this shaft a lot. cant wiat to ship up my yururis flatbacks with these in them. they are back baby! dgs 200. ........, no feel ,straigh low precise but i dunno, i hate them the msses felt like somene had shot me up the arm andth ball wnt preopsterously low scuttling runner. the good shots u go, hmm yea what ever. over al i loved the SP blue and that orange thing. the NS 1050 i discovered were too light for me. the 950s are the best of the best for slower swingers or sure they really are great shaft! the dgs i can live without the kbs im changing my mind ,even tho they ahav no real feel they performed very well. if anything they are long. the PX i dunno maybe a tighter flex like a 7 and not in flighted might work better ,the feel really is good, but the dispersion, wont do.
  23. spoons ur man for this.
  24. i just picked up a crazy black 425 tour with a black 80 ls 7.7. shaft in a 10.5* head. got back from the range a few mins ago, and my heads still spinning. the look is a little daunting, small head compact at address, slightly exagerated convex look to it , like all the small tour heads have . but its a MILE easier to hit than every other tour head ive ever hit. and i manage to find a lot of these tour mumblers. this is the first hit back from my golfathon in oz and i was in fine fettle . i hit a million balls again, and dozens with each driver. i also took the yamaha tour 9* - quadra 75xs and the crazy 435 9.5* TJ-46 7.7 the 425 played to 44.5 inch and a ilittle light i think its 318 gram looked a little short at first especially against the 435 at 45.5but................................, i was smashing the daylights of of the back left hand side of the net at nishi kasai 250 out by a MILE. and i would have gotten plenty of run out. the black 80 is MILES better than the TJ-46 i think. the 435 tj 46 is so low and runs for ever, its utterly brilliant into strong wind , and on grass u get roll out of, not the kind of stuff here in JAPAN we play on very much, its pretty much all carry here. im thinking where to best use the 435 combo now actually. (shishido hills rings a bell) need low tight running driver here that ryoma i hit a few weeks ago, might be as long, maybe even longer and it felt good with the stinger in it , really good, good enough to buy for sure, but. this is better! the feel of this driver is still muted ,esp VS the quadra. but its a weird mute, im struggling to describe it accurately. the crazy 80 is felt more in yr hands, arms and shoulder s , all at once, smooth but incredibly solid . the quadra is felt in yr fingers with a ping , zing alive snap to it. ! off the middle the quadra cannons and the crazy catapaults. its totally different feel , BOTH are simply outta this world, the crazy set up tho.for me.., just rediculous. absolutely love it. i gotta game this first to prove it , but this was magnificent at the range in FREEZING conditions. oh and i hit this a lot better than the others, more consistanly more a mid flight than the 435 and oodles of carry and it would have run for miles. plus i was turning it over ever so slightly , perfectly. im off to the crayzy factory to get a fitting done. consider me converted now.
