  1. Well I took the TPRX with Mesanger shaft to Vermont this weekend for some mountain golf with my son. First off if you haven't been to Vermont in the fall make a point to go,it is just unbelievable. Played 2 rounds over the weekend. Used the combo on 26 holes. I hit the fairway on 24 of them, which is unreal for me. I was able to spot where I wanted the ball to land and it just did. When I went at it really hard the just went further but stayed in the fairway. On the two holes I didn't hit the fairway, one went to far and ran out of fairway, the other was off the mark by 5 yards. My son could not believe how well I was driving the ball. With 4 rounds in I am very happy with the combo and how it fits my swing. Very forgiving and long, can't beat that.

  7. Its a great head. I still use it when my swing is off, mis**ts still find the fairway and travel a good distance.
  8. T so far so good. Both the head and shaft are working well. Thanks for the suggestion.
  9. Yes. Longer then the Ptune. Without really going at it the TPRX is at least 10 yards longer.
  10. Had my first Range session with the TPRX D 10 Degree with Messanger Stiff Shaft. I hit about 60 balls today with it. My first impressions are that this could be a very special driver. Very easy to hit the shaft feels great, very smooth. Ball flight was mid to low with good roll out. Much easier to hit combo then the 425 tour with WBQ 65S that I have and much longer then the Ptune with WBQ 65S. Found the head to be very forgiving, most of my miss hits were only 5-10 yards off center. Too early to make a final decision but so far I am very impressed
  11. Chris I have had or have 4 of the 5 drivers listed. The 425 is a beast and the ptune gives great results. The 388 was good not great for me. The TPRX has potential. I think any of the ones listed would be able to handle very high SS numbers as long as the shaft complemented the head and SS.
  12. I have found the same results with the Ptune. It has become my main driver of late.
  13. mine arrived today 10degree D with Messenger shaft in Stiff. Looks great will be using her tomorrow. Thanks T for the great service and advise.
  14. That is beautiful!
  15. That is a beauty! Love the color scheme! Hope you make a lot of birdies with it.
  16. Gents this is a great club. I have the UT in my bag and it is long and straight. Good guy to deal with as well!! GLWS
  17. The 2nd gen Egg had a Matrix shaft on it. The XV is longer then the 2nd gen Egg for me. I found the XV off the tee to be great, good distance low ball flight, as many have said it was akin to the the t.388 driver. Easier to hit then the t.388 but similar ball flight and roll. The New Egg has great potential. I believe it is longer then both the XV and 2nd gen Egg. Ball flight was very similar to the XV in that it was a low penetrating flight that resulted in a good amount of roll. My playing partners were surprised to see that on one occasion I was able to carry a fairway bunker off the tee without much effort. The ball landed 245 yards from the tee box. Not bad for a FW used for the first round out.
  18. I have the second generation FW 15 degree. For the longest time that was my go to FW. I purchased a SYard XV this year and it had replaced my Egg. With the new Egg I think it may eventually knock the XV out of the bag. For today the New Egg felt really easy to hit and the distance for my game was perfect. The Old egg feels similar but the distances I was getting are much better in the New Egg. The sound for the New Egg is much more pleasing and with the Fubuki shaft the the entire club feels smooth and comfortable.
  19. Gents I received the New EGG FW 15 degree with the Fubuki Shaft in Stiff from TSG yesterday. Took it to the range after dropping my son off at soccer. After a bucket of balls I was pleased with the results. The club was very easy to hit. Off the tee the ball flew with a penetrating ball flight and great roll. Hard to judge total. Took the Egg to the course today for a quick round before work. I used it a total of 6 times. 4 times off the tee and twice from the turf on the long par 5's. Average distance from the tee was 240-250 yards with a baby fade. Ball started out on the left side of the fairway and worked it's way back to the middle each of the 4 times. Distances were confirmed using Range finder. The 2 times I used it on the par 5's resulted in great opportunities to score. On the first par 5 I had 230 to the pin left, hit the egg off the ground the ball ended up 10 yards short of the pin, but dead center of the green. The second time I had 220 to the pin and the green was elevated by 10 feet. Hit the Egg and I was on on the left of the green pin high. For a first time out these were great results. I am optimistic that this club is a winner, we will see how the honeymoon period works it self out. []

  21. Sounds great T. Will be vey interested to hear your thoughts on the head.
  22. Sonds like a wining combo. Shaft should be able to handle her swing, good set of iron heads.
  23. JayDM What did you order for the Buchi's? I ordered a 54 and 60.
