Arthur Thanks for the kind words. The P-tune and Ryoma are entrenched in my bag for now.
  2. I have a T.388 head for sale 10.5 degree head bought this year from TSG. No Skymarks head is in great shape. Original head cover included. SOLD paypal gifted includes shipping for ConUS, international please PM me. Thank you for looking Ashim Thanks TSG item is now sold!!
  3. Craig I agree with you. The BST should be a place for a fellow TSG'r to find equipment and feel safe in the thought that they were not being taken advantage of. As a relative newcomer myself I have been very lucky in dealing with honest straight up people. I think that all of us should feel that way. If fellow members are gauging others that's too bad, it takes away the safety and comfort of doing business on this site. Hopefully this incidence is rare and not par for the course.

Lizard Grip on my Lajosi Damascus
  5. Welcome to the P-tune club! Hope she works well for you.
  6. The old Egg FW is much easier to hit from any lie then the Syard XV-3. The XV is easier to hit from the tee box and has a lower ball flight. For me the XV is longer then the Egg but the Egg is easier to hit. I am interested in trying the new 15 Degree Egg.
  7. When wil TSG start taking orders?

Great advise Stew. Use soda to clean golf clubs and avoid drinking it!!
  9. If a seller wishes to list an item that may have an unrealistic asking price, we as buyers have the right to ignore that posting. Everyone learns that the price for an item is set by what the market will bear.
  10. I absolutely love the Amex Platinum Card. Use for business and accrue points use for any airline and access to airport lounges. They have a special program that gets you amenities like extra days or late checkout in some of the best hotels in the world.
  11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY T!!
  12. Lajosi recomended to me that I wipe the putter with silicone after use and keep in dry putter cover.
  13. The theory is that metals like Damascus will be very soft and thus produce a true roll when they make impact. That is why most of theses types of putters have little to no face milling. If you like a soft feeling putter then Damascus will give you that. Whether you can tell the difference is another story all together.

2 rounds with the P-tune this weekend and I am still happy with the results. This driver is very workable. It has an unusual blend of forgiveness and workability. Crazy long. the WBQ 65S suits me and this head very well. Will see if this honeymoon period leads to consistent results over the next couple of weeks.
  15. T The Damascus Insert will give you a good amount of feedback, but with little to no milling, it will effect the roll and distance control
  16. This is the face of my Lajosi Damascus putter very little milling gives a crisp contact and the loft adjusted to 3 degrees.

I was happy to get it and so far am very pleased with the way it plays for me. Definitely a solid driver with length and forgiveness.

Thanks, I am pleased so far with the Ptune. Surprised how little it is talked about on this site. Definitely as good if not better then the other JDM drivers I have bought over the years.
  23. Hopefully the GF mod will work wonders for you. The Whitlam is really good on slower greens, on faster greens I use Piretti GSS. I also have a Lajosi I just got and am excited about trying it out

Actually the 65S feels better then the 6.2. I feel as if the 65S is smoother and more comfortable, Always thought the 6.2 was a tad soft, but since the results were good I never bothered with trying something new. When the opportunity came to try the ptune with the 65s I jumped at it. After just one session it does seem to fit well to me. My Swing speed is around 100MPH. After a few more sessions I may need to change the shaft in the Ptune.

I picked up the Ptune from Yourpressed in the BST. Has the Qudarfire express 65S shaft on it. Took it the range yesterday to see how it stacks up against the Syard T.388 and the Ryoma D1. As far as forgiveness goes it is as good as the Ryoma. Distance wise it is as long as both the Syard and the Ryoma. Ball flight with this set up is mid/low with great accuracy. Almost point and shoot. I will use it this weekend on the course and see how it stacks up under pressure.
