  1. She is the exact same height as tiger 188cm tall and 20kg's lighter. :tsg_smiley_yes:
  2. Welcome aboard! You came at the perfect time, we have quite a bit of expansion in the works that i'm sure the members will enjoy. We are a small and potent community of "in the know" golf enthusiasts. If you like the best you have found it.
  3. These are for the mid handicapper yet can easily be adjusted for the better player with a shaft change. They have a slightly closed face, a lower C.O.G than the X-ST and a rounded toe. I'm waiting on the new version coming mid Jan.
  4. Here are some images of the new 220i Zoom from PRGR, I am having mine shafted with the NS1150 and will need a some time to put her in play for a review. The technical side of it features a stainless steel body with 25 grams of tungsten weight in the toe and 11 grams in the heel, its face is made of PRGRs material called " chrome metal " while its back piece is made of C.F.R.P Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic.
  5. 1 of 10 made to test the stamping design for the new mallets. This model may or may not make it into the actual G-Field line up. It is the same shape as the M2AL+. The differences are it has a brushed satin sole instead of chrome, It has 3RTNC milling outside of its insert, and the new insert has deep mill marks of a different design. I have 2 of these if anyone has interest. Another very rare putter from Gauge Japan. G-Field is still 3-4 months before Japan release.
  6. I have only 3 rounds in with this club so I cant spill a full review yet, I selected the 10.5 degree loft and the Graphite Design PT-6 to get maximum ease of use. I'm very satisfied with this driver so far, it seems to launch hotter off its face than most others on the market I have hit. I had some of the specs tested and it plays very close to stated. It was dead on at [email protected] as it was marked, the 10.5* loft was actually 10.7 but has the same trajectory as most 9.5's. I was also getting more ball speed with less spin against my W-505. The only problem I had was it looks slightly open in person, best case for me is .5 closed, I can handle square faces and luckily this shaft is very easy to turn over IMO. Full review to come after 6-10 full rounds.
  7. In the next couple of weeks I have some very rare and limtied models coming my way for those interested. A 5th Aniversary " The One" with 3 tungsten ingots on it. only 100pcs. A Long neck anser putter only 100pcs. and 2 G-Field M2 mallet stamping prototypes.
  8. If you guys are looking for specs on some putter shafts from Precision, Nippon, and others in english please check out this link: Iron & Putter Shaft Specs!
  9. Depends what models you are talking about, As far as the latest models go, I can compare the X-Drive 435 10.5 to the ViQ 450 9.5 model for you. I cant compare the new ViQ version to these because its not released till the 15th of Jan. I don't know how much the shaft comes into effect but its the PT-6 vs W60, both in the 60 gram range with close to 3.5* torque and both have a medium/high trajectory and get the ball up very easy. The X-Drive 10.5 has the same trajectory as the ViQ 9.5 because it plays true to loft, It feels as if there is a higher C.O.G as well. The feel of the X-Driver is far more solid and muted with a quieter sound. the ViQ 450 has a hollow yet absorbing feel as do all ViQ clubs do. Its face is far more shallow and is more forgiving on toe and heel mistakes. The XD is of course more forgiving if the you hit the ball high on the face. The totally square face of the XD will not air a slicer any but I can say with no doubt that this is the best X-Drive I have hit to date, the most forgiving and in 10.5 the longest for me. I cant wait for the new ViQ model. It seems better suited to my game and easier to use.
  10. Yes it has, It actually started out in Japan several years ago and the U.S side decided to pick up on the success they were having there with it. Loud, Hollow, and affordable would best describe them IMO. Oh yeah and I forgot to add extremely easy for the mid capper to use.
  11. Masda is a small Japanese golf company, the images above are of an older model still mentioned on their web site, Nasty toe and topline IMO. I havent ever hit any of it so i cant say I know if its any good or not. They have some pretty far out designs.
  12. The ERC Hot is very similar to the FT-3, It has the carbon head which explains the akward sound it gives off. The non conforming version has been out for most of the year. The conforming version is going to be released Jan 06. Don't know the exact C.O.R ratings sorry.
  13. Trying to save up for the new Cayman S in red, hopefully by late 07 it will be in the garage. Here is what im driving now...
  14. I'm pretty sure it has the same dark blue crown, The design is pretty similar to the last 2 models. IMO its for the mid handicapper, very easy to hit and helps slicers big time, the sound is rather hollow and tin like.
  15. I wouldn't be playing the tour model because a slightly closed face actually helps me and the non conforming aspect thrills me. Its a good driver, very long but the sound and feel just doesn't do it for me. Its a bit louder than the FT-3.
  16. No its not that sort of chrome, the Japanese flower band Ion shafts look like this:
  17. It seems like the Japanese OEM's are rolling out their latest release schedule right around now and Macgregor golf has got 2 new drivers, a FW, and a couple of different sets of irons in their new line up. The NV series was a huge hit in Japan for the average golfer 2 years ago. Then the NVG that only did so so and now the new NVG2. This is the first time they have offered a tour version driver. The new NVG2's feature a 445cc club head size and a new cup face design that they say expands the sweet spot. More tungsten has been added to the sole and its got an updated version of the 3 kick 4 zone shaft which supposedly has multiple kick points. The Tour version is USGA conforming slightly heavier with supposedly a square face angle. The new NVG2 Irons are also available in two forms, these irons are very forgiving with their high rebounding face and hollow head in the #3 thru #6 Irons... thats right an iron with a hollow head :tsg_smiley_yes: The 3,4, & 5 irons also have tungsten weighting making them easier to get into the air. The Tour version Irons are not hollow and feature a smaller profile.
  18. OK here is the scoop on the new JPX, BTW i was completely wrong about the specs and C.O.R. The new JPX E310 Is actually the USGA conforming version at 410cc's, Its got some different graphics and will be available early Feb. I guess Japan is getting ready early for the SLE rule expiration date.
  19. So far we only know about a handful of new releases by Callaway Japan. The 2 new drivers we know about are the X-18 CF ( carbon crown conforming model ) and the ERC HOT "TOUR". The ERC HOT Tour features a heavier swing weight achieved by a heavier head at D2.5 - D3 standard, a USGA legal C.O.R of .083, neutral weighting and a square face angle. Only available in 8* and 9*.
  20. There is also a new Mizuno JPX Driver, I'm not sure how large it will be but rumor is 460cc with a C.O.R of .089. The MP003 looks promising as well. On the domestic side there are several good drivers coming as well. R7425/460 and the 905R. I will be testing the TM's for sure but will pass on the titleist due to the ultra jacked lofts.
  21. My #1 Must haves are the new ViQ coming mid Jan. and the G-Field GFT-1W :tsg_smiley_yes:
