  1. Really?! :surprize: I just assumed it was for a calus he gets from practicing so much.
  2. I hope these images of the GAS1 Forged, GAS2, and GASQBT help you visually. I put the GAS1SQBT into the bag because it added more spin without shredding the ball as much as the GAS1 Forged. I really wish the SQBT was available in the same satin finish as the forged is also with the same raw face but I guess the black will have to do. All three of these wedges feel very soft at impact and perform like champs. Each made 100% in Japan and IMO better than anything else I have tested to date. GAS1 Forged SQBT vs GAS2
  3. Just recieved my 6V05 and my Diamana Red 63 in the same package today. Will be shafting on monday and have an initial first day review by Wednesday.
  4. I had the C.V Pro and didnt care so much for the feel, distance, or Trajectory. Currently there are no better fairwaywoods than the JPX, and X-ST IMO. Due to the X-ST being so kick ass, I will not even try the H2.
  5. A few more dollars would do nothing to get it there quicker. It's Canada's port of entry customs that is giving you a delay. The inspection rate there is 90%+ where as U.S is 16%. Those who wait get the good stuff. Limited GD product must be secured the day its released If not you guys would never see it. In regards to your question the grinds are the exact same, and correct the difference is the finish, milling and full face of square grooves instead of the 5 CNC milled.
  6. With all the information, rumors and hype we hear popular forums, I wonder what the true manufacturing cost of this shaft is? All great shafts are made in Japan but what is so different about this shaft to push cost so high and does that difference really justify the increase? Before this line matrix wasn't in the upper high end expensive bracket but now they are the most expensive shaft on the market. Shaft worth the money or a great marketing ploy by Matrix?
  7. The new GD wedges (SQBT - GAS2) are available right now. for those interested drop me a PM, I can have them shipped out right away in all lofts. S200 is the only shaft option available. I dont know to be exact. It looks great in the real and I would call it a shinney black.
  8. I am curious to see how this will turn out. I suggest the X-Flex 1150, IMO you will notice everything you wish for, softer, more lively and an easier load while being much more smooth. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
  9. Ok here is the exact deal on these, Zodia, will not sell this product to distributors or shops in Japan, In order to get one you must buy it from Zodia Japan direct who will charge you 29,400yen +5% +Shipping...EACH. FYI they dont ship outside of Japan  To translate, the company alone wants to make the difference between cost and retail price.
  10. These are standard square grooves. Good question. I dig on the dark coloring. Is it a rusting face like the GAS1? When a wedge has a black finish after it wears the entire head will rust.
  11. The forged series was released before the GDO. The putter with the most pronounced 3RTNC was the original first run of Balde putters.
  12. 1) The W505 I have is non conforming its a tad hotter off the face. The performance difference would be the ViQ is more forgiving on toe and heel shots while the 505 is better with shots missed high or low on the face. The feel of the 505 is much better IMO. 2) The ball goes much more straight with the steel shaft. I value you accuracy in my 3 wood more than distance. 3) Im done with the combo, I am playing straight up NC-1's. In regards to my wedges, as of today the GAS1-SQBT are in the bag, It took no time to get used to these because they are the same grind as the GAS1 Forged, plus milling marks, square grooves and the black finish. Oh yeah forgot to mention the head weight on the SQBT model seems a tad heavier.
  13. The new Gauge Japan GAS1-SQBT features the exact same grind and profile as the GAS1 Forged wedge except a flat black finish with a full face of square grooves and milling marks. Review and comparison images against the GAS2 coming shortly.
  14. The new GAS2 wedge by gauge japan is geared toward the better player. It features a smaller head than the GAS1 and some trailing edge relief. Review will be up shortly.
  15. Im interested in the fancy $1000.00 Ozik, If you can get one let me know.
  16. I have yet to try the Ozik, but the Axiv has honestly given me more distance. I would say a realistic 10 yds over the diamana and rombax. I have seen with my own eyes top amatuers in both hawaii and Japan claiming 25 yards. Right now several of Japans top ranked JPGA players are claiming the same thing. The hard part is to figure out the flex rating that fits you best. The first two numbers are the weight and the next two are the flex rating....I think? the 6064 is 60 grams and 6.4 flex and 68 is 6.8 flex. In my experience the 6060 needs to be tipped a half inch to play at 6.0 flex. Its kinda hard to figure out but once you get it figured out, you will love the shaft. I would love to buy an Ozik if someone will give me a good price on one.
  17. This was my bag as of last month. It is very much the same as it is now, except for a new 17* UX2 and an axiv shaft in my driver. I have had many other clubs but havent found a setup that works as well as this. The NC-1's have been in the bag longer than any other set of irons in several years. Everything is locked firm and not moving until I find better equipment. I will continue to buy one of each product I may think has a chance and I always hope I will find somthing better.
  18. Sorry to say but the PT-6 isnt released yet. It is showing up quite a bit on the JPGA tour though.
  19. Ok Sorry! Bad news guys! I just got info that Zodia may not be selling these now  It is not a confirmed product yet!
  20. In the new milled series it is only available in 53 & 58. The premium versions in many different lofts. Chris, what's the bounce on these and how fast can we get them? :smile2: Im not sure on the bounce but it looks to me like the 53 has 8* and the 58 has 10* or maybe 7*  Zodia takes a while always so they would not be fast, Im guessing it ships in 3 weeks. Dont forget how sweet satin would look!
