  1. These are the limited crafting versions from Gauge Japan.
  2. It does not take a lab to find the accurate sweet spot or the center of gravity in a driver head. The Japanese club makers have been doing this for years using a ruler measuring instrument and the sweet spot analyzer aka "sweet spot marker". The instrument to measure the center of gravity 100% accurately will run you roughly the price of a new iron set. It is a simple and quick process taking no longer than 15 minutes if the shaft is removed from the head. A computerized print out can be made by inserting the measurements into a PC if math isnt your forte. In the images it shows the Tour Issue FT-3 being weighed then tested for its C.O.G data and sweet spot location. The findings on this particular FT-3 Tour Issue head was it had a low C.O.G of 34.9mm. My personal take on all this mumbo jumbo is it is indeed very cool and high end to know where your sweet spot is and your center of gravity, but it is how your club at impact hits the sweet spot that matters even more. Hitting the spot with an open or closed face makes knowing the exact location of your Sweet spot irrelevent. Besides with todays modern drivers its almost always in the same place high on the face slightly to the right. (If holding the driver in front of you). If you really need to know your center of gravity, which not even the pro's need, ask the OEM and they can give you your answer give or take a few .mm
  3. Howdy to you Kahuna! I am Chris aka Tourspecgolfer and yes I can get the Japanese rifle shafts for you.
  4. The X-ST does kick some major butt but I can also say the JPX is killer as well. It feels crazy hot and IMO longer than the XST, it is easily more forgiving than the XST it just has a tad more hollow feel at impact kinda like the C.V Pro or BBD series.
  5. No this is not my personal it is one of 3 I have for sale. I will be taking images of the new Crafting Balde today as well. It doesnt have the black sole but its the same soft black finish. Here are more images of the new crafting version of "THE ONE":
  6. I think the problem you are having with the ball flight is due to the shaft you are using. They are known to balloon the ball and you probably over power that shaft. I don't recommend the 1050 yet I do recommend the 1150, Its a tad heaver and gets up quick but levels out at the top preventing the balloon. I know its not the design of the head that is causing you this problem.
  7. I had the same expereince as plus1, the scratch is made of a softer material 1018 vs 1020 but the gauge feels softer. They are both brushed satin finish but the GD's face section is designed to be the only part that rusts on the head. The CNC milled bottom 5 grooves also put a ton of spin on the ball, so much I had to dull them out a bit with the edge of a pick. I currently have the scratch's for sale while the GD forged wedges are sold out, I also do have the GAS2 and GASQBT coming but have not tested them yet. I am waiting on a set of scratch wedges that can beat out my GD forged 53* & 58*. I would love if Scratch made me a replica of the GD forged wedges, with the 5 CNC milled grooves and the rusting face while the rest of the head is in their smooth brushed satin. Until then its the GAS1 forged for me.
  8. Sorry I have not hit them, but I am putting my order in for the new XCB and X435 this monday. Will they beat the NC-1's or MB2's? I seriously doubt it but if it does I will be one happy man, Im looking for a new set but it MUST earn its spot.
  9. Some images of the limited colored Tubu2's Dark Red and Silver.
  10. Mr ZOD, There are also other shaft options than listed for the XD435 like: Diamana 63 & 73 Diamana Red 63 & 73 Graphite Design M55, M65, & M75 Graphite Design I65 & I65 type 2
  11. It shouldnt launch lower than the original Type H but it should launch lower than the current C.V Pro.
  12. Spot On! Yup Shingo uses this putter! I dont blame him, it changes the game of putting, we play a game called straight putt using that putting peg gadget and I hit 17 of 25 twenty footers to win a whopping 4 bucks! I will post comparisson images next to "the balde" in a couple days or so.
  13. chris - is this the shaft with the same design as the ut/w/i series in the blue and white color scheme? Why yes it is Sir!
  14. The Balde started it all showing people just how good and soft a forged Gauge Japan putter can feel, also what the 3RTNC face could do in terms of performance and feedback. So far we have sold 29 of "THE ONE" putters and with its release the forged series enthusiests had another route to go if they loved that A1 shape over the rounded "BALDE". Here is a limited model that was produced for people who enjoy a black finish and the softest feel possible, Yes even softer than both "THE ONE" and more pure than the old SM490A models. Its got a blank sole while the entire putter has Zero paintfill. Add the fill on your own, heck stamp it yourself, I dont care this model is made for the crafter at heart.
  15. We all pretty much tripped out when the first 380cc+ drivers were introduced into the market about 4 years ago. I used to hear "Wow that thing looks like a Volkswagon beetle on a stick" and all kinds of comments. Has anyone heard the one " If you miss with that thing you should quit golf"?...now all the top players use them and the ones who use small headed drivers are the new minority. Enter the Gauge Japan NeO BLaDE! It is 4 times the size of your average anser putter. See them tungsten ingots? those are the big ones that we see in the M-Series mallets and most of the other gauge putters! yup this thing is that big. Wanna know something even more funny, This "thing" has knocked "The One" straight out of the bag. While testing on the putting range I noticed on flat ground its dumb easy to get the ball rolling straight, I'm talking dead straight. With my loose grip the head felt quite heavy and just goes back and through with no effort. How did they get it to 360 grams with 6 20 gram tungsten ingots? Its hollow! It gives of this hollow "tink" sound that is the exact opposite of what I love about the balde, one, and all the other 3RTNC faced putters. If your into anser putters but cant get used to Neo Mallets try the NeO BLaDE if you can get one. Its an anser with all the answers... well for me it has been anyway :smile2: Dont let the images fool you! this putter is a lot bigger than the pics show!
  16. Thx Mr.Zodia! As always killer posts you are one of our greatest! Here is the skinny on the new product! The new Tourstage X-Blade CB features a new inner Ti (titanium) composite within the #2 thru #7 Irons. It has a more player profile with thinner topline, less offset and a more rounded sole. Made of 1020 soft forged steel. Currently Japanese mags say Maru is testing this along side the X-Drive 435 which he claims to give better directional stability than the 405 model. The new X-blade is sheduled to be released December 16th with the new driver at side. The top Japanese players Naomichi Ozaki, Katsumasa Miyamoto, and Kiyoshi Miyasato have also put this deadly combo into the bag. The rumor was that these new XCBs were the MR-23CB's even Golf Today hinted this. I guess we were all wrong which leads us to the question will there even be a new MR-23? On a Graphite Design side note the new Tour AD PT-6, PT-7 and PT-8 will be shaft options in the XD435. This shaft is supposed to go head to head against the Diamana
  17. For those in the U.S who want to get their hands on one here ya go: FYI: Ready to ship November 1st! Taylormade V-Steel 2
  18. The weights are all set into place no changing them.
  19. thanks +1. interesting. It actually hides the IP addy, For example if a member is IP banned from a website they can gain entry once again by using another websites IP addy as cover. We only have one banned person on TSG and it is Xgator
  20. I was just told that they are not doing custom modifications to the crafting balde, it is just a new dark finish they have. Mine are all 34" the ones that rescue has were left un-cut per his request. This is a new putter but not the newest. This is what I have coming in a week from now: 1 x Tubu2 Dark Red 1 x Tubu2 in Silver 1 x Crafting Balde 2 x Balde Black finish 1 x GD MB2 (Heads Only) 1 x GD NC-1 (Heads Only)
  21. Im interested if ya got some! drop me a PM... P.S why you on a Proxy IP?
