THE NEW MR-23 PROTOTYPE Cavity Backs!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Im not gonna knock these until I get the chance to hit them, I dont want to have my foot in my mouth when these could be in the bag next season  They look decent to me and Im sure if I took some clear images myself more initial thoughts would be in the better. I really doubt they will have turbo rubber, these look so small there is no where to put it. Perhaps a tungsten composite in the long irons, not to sure if Maru needs them. -
Cu, Cu, Cu, Custom GRIND Mizzy COMBO's!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Well I would never select a combo set unless it had a custom grind to play truly matching as much as possible. they all have a slightly lower center of gravity than the retail versions making them more forgiving IMO. Mizzy will not grind anything that will affect the performance in a negative way. Only JPGA pros are able to get what I would call "Risky" grinds. These just came in Yesterday, The toplines are not the same as retail but they all look pretty thin as in the images. PM me if your looking for the price, this is a great oppertunity because you dont have to wait 4-6 weeks for them to build it, especially with this shaft and tweaked out grind. Mixing the 33 & 37 together was in the hopes of getting a lower ball flight with the short irons, now I dont know by how much especially with the lower C.O.G grind. No real goal in mind, these will be my 6th set of custom mizzys if I were to keep them and my first set of 3-Tier combos didnt have the grind option. -

Here are some of the first images seen at TSG of the new Special Edition Traditional golf co. wedges! 52* & 58* with S200 shafts These wedges were made for the average sweeper swing and sport a solid brushed gold finish that appears in these images looking like satin for some odd reason. If anyone is interested please drop me or Mark at Traditional golf co an E-mail or PM.

Thats right TSG'ers here they are, they look similar to the ViQ forged but even more player with less offset and a blade like C.O.G. Enjoy! P.S notice the new maru wedges

IMO the M65 plays tighter and lower. I use the W60 and TSGirl uses the same also, its a great shaft. I would select M65 for a FW and the W in my driver. It depends on your swing, and I feel like I know some about yours from our conversations and perhaps the W would fit you better.

Scratch New Logo "JLM" Series Wedges
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
They will be trying to get into the bag... Im having a wedgeathon next week with my new arrivals: New PRGR TR-Wedge Scratch JLM Wedges The GAS1 Forged ( just cleaned the grooves ) Traditional Golf Custom Grind Wedges Scratch Custom Grind Wedges ( in several weeks ) -
I agree, The CLK had a "click" that felt kinda cheap where as the UX2 has a sound/feel similar to mini steel driver.
-
The UX2 takes some MANA to get good results from. The flight is much lower than the ViQ yet I find it loads more accurate. I play a 25* ViQ with stiff graphite and it launches very high and lands with almost no roll. The ViQ is the same as the discontinued F-UT yet with a softer feel at impact due to the vibration absorbing material "turbo rubber". I suggest trying it with the stock shaft first, If you dont like the flight slap in maybe a UT-85 or a steel shaft of your choice.

Look at this insane finish! Good Job Ari & Jeff at Scratch. These new logo series JLM wedges are made in Japan by the guys at Ishihara. No where else but in Japan can you get a finish as beautiful or flawless as this high gloss satin. I only have a few of these wedges left for those interested: 53* 8 bounce 58* 10 bounce 58* 14 bounce 60* 8 bounce 60* 12 bounce ALL shafted with S200's brand new in the wraps for 169.00 Shipped!

I dont know which is longer but I can get them for you if interested. -
These are the Brady's! They are my shoes, and I ordered them as the Brady's from TM Japan myself. The Adidas shoes in Japan are far cooler than what they offer to the U.S domestic market. If anyone is interested go look on the TM Japan website or Adidas JPN. If ya got a product # I can order it. We have ALL JDM accounts.

These are Custom Grinds made with a very low C.O.G!

Here are some top suggestions worth looking into: . Gauge Japan NC-1 Cavity Backs . PRGR 910 or 915 CR . Custom Grind Mizuno's . The new Srixon I-505 Irons . Tourstage ViQ Forged

Literally just got done hittin' my X CBs. I'll tell ya, if these are not considered "player profile" CBs then our definitions of what that is are mighty different. Smallish head, very little offset and DEF. 'blade like' @ address. As far as feel and quality vs. Srixons... I have never hit the 505s, but if they are built better than the Xs and feel "better"... then the 505s must be simply AMAZING. btw. Chris, I thought the Xs were forged @ Endo Thailand? There is some confusion at the moment about Tourstage and Mizuno's foundry's. Let me start with Tourstage, I hear that the Bridgestone U.S product is coming from Nelson factory. and that the Japanese product is form Endo " China " if there is such thing or if its bad info, I cannot confirm. In regards to Mizuno, dispite what they tell me that all MP series clubs are made in Japan I have found people in the industry who are 100% posotive they are made in China. I do know for a FACT custom Mizzys are made in Japan. but the retail MP product could explain the amount of MP60s of the truck floating around everywhere for 300 bucks.
-
Nope... But if you can handle stiff flex the 6064 is a real winner!
-
Srixon's Japan clubs are made in Japan vs the XCBs being made in China. The Srixons IMO are better performers, they are forgiving just the same as the XCB's but in a more player profile with better feel. Even the W-505 Driver is made in Japan which is weird for drivers.
