Many of you have probably seen the T stamp titleist Irons forged by Endo on ebay from time to time. In 2003 there was a special run of Titleist Japan only Irons made by Miura that featured Tigers MP-14 like grind. 500 of these sets were made and sold for 5000.00 in a cherry wood box with a letter of authenticity from titleist and an actual signed picture of tiger. This was the only time they sold his exact grind irons forged by Miura. I recently acquired set 2-PW #127/500 in 8.5 condition: It is noticeably a different grind with the short irons having a rounded toe . I want to keep this set in my personal collection but want them in pristine condition so I decided to have them refinished in Japan. My question to the TSG'ers is should I refinish them in high quality chrome and bring them to Original or shall I have them done in beautiful brushed satin to have the only Miura titleist Tiger irons in satin? what cha guys think on this one?

I have played both. 1050 stiff just hit too high for me but the 1150 stiff are perfect. If you like the feel and your ball flight is fine, stick with the 1050s and hard step. If you want to lower your ball flight and want a more "solid" (yet still soft) feeling shaft, go with the soft-stepped 1150s. Although mine are/were in different heads, I actually hit a club longer with the 1150s than with the 1050s. Ordering a new set of Srixon i505s w/ 1150s cuz i absoutely love the shaft. Just sold my i404s and have been playing my Gold's Factory blades with the 1050s and i just hit it way too high. Ditto, The NS 1150 is the best steel shaft I have hit to date. Before that I was a PX6.0 & soft step X-100 kinda guy, the 1150 will top out at a certain trajectory and the distance gain was on par with the PX shaft. I don't see me using another shaft for long while. My best words to describe this shaft would be a project X that gets up in the air faster, higher, yet will not balloon on you. it almost feels as if my Irons are more forgiving now

New Driver: Tourstage ViQ 450cc USGA Conforming!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Your right, its loads more forgiving than the X-Drive, IMO better softer feel more muted and very much like the ViQ utility clubs. The best words I can use to describe the sound is " a bigger, softer, more hollow muted X-drive " stock shaft is TXD-65 another option is the W60. I have one other brand new one 9.5 with R flex W60 able to ship tomorrow if anyone is interested. -

GDO and SP are the same length. I'm not sure about your mallet. -

Limited Edition Eldik-SP 1/100
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
OK I remember, The Sp would be quite a bit softer due to the finish. I believe yours was a flat smooth face with the silver finish. My best guess would be 15% softer and the GDO being 35% softer. -

I'm sorry I forgot what mallet you bought from me. -
Limited Edition Eldik-SP 1/100
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I'm playing the GDO because it is softer at impact similar to the feel of the Eldik M and Balde. The SP version has a more crisp feel to it, I do think they both roll about the same and I guess it comes down to how soft you want the face to react. -
Limited Edition Eldik-SP 1/100
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
These just came in and are almost out already so I haven't had time on the course with any of these models yet. I have only hit them on the carpet and my fake putt putt green but it seems to me the -SP model due to the weight in the front area reacts very similar to a heavy anser putter. I get the sensation that I just need to pull back and let go with loose grip pressure and it flows through on path into the follow thru. -

Eldik GDO has a slightly thicker top line and is a tad lighter. The SP model has the same neck as the N but it also has the 4 ingots, Its a different Teflon that is a tad more coarse which makes it softer at impact. The thing i notice most about the SP is that it stops the player from decelerating. due to the extra weighting in the front. The price is high due to the Teflon finish and 4x Tungsten Ingots at 499.00 Shipped. -
4 Tungsten ingots.... and a mynah bird in one papaya tree
-
Its not from the Tour  Its a stock Japan shaft for slower swingers, High Torque and fairly old. Id value it at under 10 bucks but if it works for you swing it!
-
thats correct, Ill give you 75.00 if they are in great condition. and say prototype and Maru 23 on them.
-
Ill take a dozen, go get um!

Limited Edition GA03-SP by Gauge Japan
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Your A3SP is more muted and a crisp different type of soft IMO. The best way I can describe this one is as a firm soft. For reference I would rate the blade as being the softest. -
The Limited Edition Eldik-GDO 1/100
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Head weight is in the 340's but like most neo mallets they feel much heavier. They are already sold out in Japan, I have only 2 left and they run 375.00 Shipped each. Any time they add solid tungsten ingots to a putter the price goes up. -
Limited Edition GA03-SP by Gauge Japan
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The Head weight is 345g's, it feels very soft at impact due to the light milling marks, it costs 550.00 shipped from TSG. Retail for this limited product is 620.00 and I secured the last 3 available in Japan. -
This putter was made especially for Golf Digest Japan in limited numbers, It features the new 3RNTC milling system for optimal role. Only 100 made.
-
Only 100 made, The 2005 Gauge Japan GA03-SP is made of SUS303 and has very light milling marks on its face, it has 4* of loft and is attached to a Nippon Steel Pro 130g putter shaft.
