he must have a high swing speed.. try the new aldila vs proto 85 x.. or the protopype by aldila .. both stiffe tip sections and low spin.. >>> others>> ozik infra, accra se85, fujikura rombax....... some good choices...

my opion>> the avix had a more lively tip section and thus got the ball up quicker.. the ozik altus > $400 version - mind you.. has a firmer tip seciton or firmer feel.. ball does climb but flattens out quicker and has a more penetrating flight i feel. both are worth the $$ spent.. if your goining to spend $300-$400 dollars than these two really warrant the high price..
  3. -------2 clubs will make a differnce... 1 THING tough--- the black golds are heavier than the PX's.. might be one big reason your not hititng them well or having trouble hitting the long irons.. just a thought-- i play the PX 5.5's... :atsg_smilie_bomb1:
  4. may be a tad short-- most three woods in graphite are 43'' long.. all depends on the hosel depth of your 3wd.... check it out.. 1st

  6. -------what did TW charge for those irons??? :tsg_smilie_money3:

the diamana 53x wouold be a nice shaft to try.. the blue matte color is not for the US market.. 757 for the 3wd is a great idea.. fantastic fwy shaft.. hit it well :atsg_smilie_bomb1:

what the people want drives the market- alot of factors go into the price points.. i do not see a one company makeing a cheaper product in the same factory for US sales verse a better one for japanese market.. components for the clubs are made all over the world- like you mentioned.. why-- cheap labor is the main reason right.. the japan market brings in more dollars due to the % of golfers is low and the availability of golf courses to the masses.. still a sport for the rich i beleave* you get what you can get $$ wise in buisness.. right now it is a buyers market in the US.. callaway, taylor made or ping with a name brand shaft> $299.. crazy low price.. $799 TP driver with 757 speeder.. can't keep them in stock* so there is a small market for HIGH priced drivers etc.. just a flooded market right now.. i'm lost now in what i was trying to state** have a good week.. time for a night cap*

error on the stiffer side for the irons if you have a quick tempo.. help the ball go straigher-- the 1150's would match up best with the s-300 DG's.. :atsg_smilie_bomb1:
  10. true temper x-100,s-300, rifle, rifle project x, nippon 1050, and graphite irons> aldila nv 130's, mfs 115's,ust harmon tour designs.. seen these in all profiles of pro's bags.. true temper makes a great priduct and just may be better known out on the us market.. all shafts mentioned are very well made.. just a factor of what works etc.. :atsg_smilie_bomb1:

hopefully he did'nt mean it to be a d**k -- more as a concern but i guess not.. i had a person come in with a set of ni8ke irons.. to get new grips.. started taking off the grips and said the same words-- good copy where did you get these? you would have thought i said something about his mother! turned out they were counterfiet.. sent them into nike and they confirmed it.. i was being curious -
  12. wow.......15* launch.. up there my man.. evrything else looks good.. your yardage is most lilkely getting hurt by the high launch.. look at > ys-7, evolution, blue , rombax, mugen, matrix, accra sc ,aldila proto, a few to look into .. you must hit on the upswing.. stiff flex also should be perfect. good luck..
  13. colorful year ahead!!!!!!!!!!! wow--
  14. dont see a problem.. just do not go too long in length.. overall weight will go up with the steel shaft.. and make it too long and it will probably work against you.. make it one iron length and roll with it.. hope it works out for ya..
  15. do not recomend bending a driver that much.. try a lower lofted driver 1st.. not an easy process and bending back and forth will weaken the metal.. just my opion..

1st the aurora is a hot faced driver head.. the ozik shaft has a few different lines.. and price levels.. $1000 levell and $400 level.. hit the lesser ha ha $400 shafts.. altus, medius and the new fwy and hybrid shafts.. what i saw in launch monitor hitting(zelocity) and outdoors (impact tape) and naturall flight is that i hit more center shots period.. had the shaft in a nak 460, & j33 420... would have to give the edge to the shaft for this help in accuracy.. i know it's crazy sounding but the shafts feel great and helped me hit more center shots.. now -- yes i still can hook the hell out of it or block it wayyy right.. but on the all more fwy's hit for me.. they should make a huge impact this year as alot of pga pro's are already hititng it and it looks like finally mcc/matrix will do some advertising..
  17. use the pro launch 75 stiff.. normal tipping as per grafalloy...... great fwy shaft..
  18. perfect................ just glue them now!!! looks like a normal setup.. should be fine..
  19. sleek "hollywood" finish.. after a few rounds the glare would be gone i'm sure.. will have to look into to these.. wedges and fwy woods i like to collect...
  20. simple sexy design... the sole plate -- may have sonartec's legal team looking!!! looks like a perfect fwy club.. post up when you guys get to hit it...

TAKE THE SHAFT OUT AND POP PTHE PLUG OUT-- this could let the particle fall out and if not than put some rattle stop in it.. most golf hobby site have it-- rattle stop stays sticky and collects all loose impedaments....
  22. 3 strong setups.. i guess you have gotten used to the large SQ head-- i love the new SQ fwy's but the driver needs to be hit more to get used to the size... look forward to hearing more... thanks
  23. love the formula 1 design in the box.......... are they priced fair like the $40-50 top balls here-- pro v, hx tour-- etc....
  24. Lowpro replied to jeld's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
its a cost issue-- there are many good graphite shafts that are in the 90-100gram range now and will work as good or better than steel.. they just cost alot.. rifles, x-100 & nippon work great and accuracy monsters.. pro 95, ys-9, vp-90, tour trac 100,icon heavy weight, ul-680..... all great fwy shafts and offer better feel i think-- just more $$$$$
