The thing to watch out for in graphite such as Machline or Axiv, the heavier of the shaft, even in the same flex would also play or feel stiffer. Your Machline 501 is probably in the mid 50g while your Axiv might be the heavier mid 70 g ones while both are R or S flex. One must choose the weight class carefully or be disappointed.

ha ha, I still have a set of Speeder 603 and AXIV 558M that I need to find a good set of heads or sell them and try Machline instead. Unfortunately they are all good and the only way to test any shaft is to get identical heads.

If the Machline wood shaft is any indication, their iron shafts would be as good as any of the bigger name shafts such as Fuji and DG. I have the 5350 proto and 7060 and think they are great performers and of course value.

T Dont put the head cover on immediately on after the round or when the club is still damp. This is the easiest way to get rust especially those expensive wedges.

For most models that is probably true if you are a decent ball striker but I think the passing point could be his attempt to create a slightly more forgiving design with stronger loft. I am a 14 hdcp and absolutely love my CB201 with nspro 850.

T, don't tell everyone. It is my secret weapon. I actually built two, one with Machline 7060 S for me and one with GD QT 65 SR for my bro. Good old fashion non high tech driver if you are a decent ball striker. It does not even come with a head cover, just a bubble warp.

PT is good but with a H/S of 87 mph, perhaps a PT5 or PT6 would be better.
