Shaft recommendation
Based on your response on the other thread, you have a lot of choices for example (i am assuming you are keeping with JDM only): Fuji ZCOM SIX r2, Rombax 5x07 R Axiv 5056m, 5556m Graphite Design W50, W60, PT5, PT6 and QT55 -all in R flex Machline 5350 and possible 7060 R flex or a 5350 proto R Diamana Red and last and not least, your favourite-Roddio w5ba R flex ps: IMO Machline shafts are very much underrated

Bettinardi JAPAN 1st Article DASS Signature Series w/PICS!
So both versions are effectively the same right except some letters on the neck? Would the "1st Art" be more 'collectible' than the Japanese version?

Epon Ball Marker
I think it is one clip and two markers.

Srixon AD 2007 Hybrids
If your are truly a beginner and not 6'2'' and 230 lbs, just stay with a stock R flex (even JDM spec). It should be comparable to the nspro 850 R. Hybrids usually do not come in SR flex.

Epon Ball Marker
Downloaded this pic from the Epon site. Perhaps Chris can put it on the proshop or give away with Epon purchases.

Srixon AD 2007 Hybrids
The first Big LB is probably 10 years ago and the R flex plays like a wet noodle. You really have to know the Japanese flex and your own game to pick the right shaft for you. If you are looking to replace a 3 iron, pick the loft that is the same or actually slightly weaker since the hybrid would have a longer shaft anyway. A 19 degree hybrid would have the distance of 2 or 1 iron and might leave you with a distance gap. A hybrid with the same loft would always play longer than comparable iron.

A little golf poem
Duffer19 posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearA golfing friend sent me this poem via email. Dont know where he got it or who wrote it (probably been around for awhile) but credit is hereby given to the author. In my hand I hold a ball White and dimpled, rather small > Oh, how bland it does appear > This harmless looking little sphere > By its size I could not guess > The awesome strength it doth possess. > And since I fell beneath its spell > I've wandered through the fires of hell > > My life has not been quite the same > Since I chose to play it's game > It rules my mind for hours on end > And a fortune it has made me spend > > It has made me scream and cry > hate myself and want to die > It promises a thing called par > If I can hit it straight and far > To master such a tiny ball > Should not be very hard at all > But my desires the ball refuses > And does exactly as it chooses > > It hooks and slices, dribbles, dies > It disappears before my eyes > Often it will act on whims > To hide in trees, go for swims > > With miles of grass on which to land > It finds a tiny patch of sand > Then has me offering up my soul > If only it would find the hole > It's made me whimper like a pup > And swear that I will give it up > to stay my tears and ease my sorrow ..... > But the little ball knows I'll be back tomorrow!!!!

X-Drive forged?
There are a few frequency machine out there but the one I used yesterday was a Golf Works which I was told is usually 5 or 7 cycles higher than another old timer (cannot remember the name.) I seem to remember someone published a chart once for reference based on domestic shaft manufacturers but it is more trial and error on my part from playing with different shafts and see and record what works and what doesnt. CPM is based on head weight, length and to a small degree grip. Domestic regarlar is in the 240 range while JDM regular is more like 225 to 235. Typically it is one flex difference.

Shaft recommendation
If you are hitting a Japanese spec R flex well, I think your ss would be in the range of 85 to 90 max for a distance of 220 y average. You could be getting the wrong advice or recommendation based on a 100 mph ss. The best is to get on a launch monitor or radar to get tested for ss and launch angle.
-
Shaft recommendation
If you ss is 90 to 100 mph, your distance should be a bit longer than 220 yard. Did you check it on a radar or launch monitor? Is your TM R7 Japanese version or NA version since shaft spec are different.

Mamiya AXIV Site
C; This is exactly my point. I think I swing slower than you but I am playing stiff in the follow shafts: Fuji speeder 569 Fuji Tour Platform Zcom mw 54 Fuji Six GD W70 GD PT 6 Machline 7060 and considering changing my White d63 from a R to S soon. Oem are even softer I think. Its your call of course but this is from my past experience.

Mamiya AXIV Site
Isn't the v 6066 listed as a SR in the AXIV site spec? If your w6ba SR did not work, why do you think this SR would be different? IMO all JDM shafts are fairly comparable in their flex ratings for weight class.

Mamiya AXIV Site
Leopard skin graphics? Cool !!

anyone know the cpm of a axiv 6066?
T and C I find that with Japanese shaft, premium ones especially, that if you are looking for a stiff in one brand, you should go with stiff on another on a similar weight class. If the W6ba SR is not working out, go with a S in Axiv for comparable weight and kick point. This is just my own observation from using Japanese for years.

anyone know the cpm of a axiv 6066?
Firstly I posted a tread saying that their site is under construction and secondly all the spec is in the proshop and thirdly there is no 6066, only 6064 and 6068. FYI, the stated cpm count would be higher than actual due to length of clamp and probably head weight used.

Mamiya AXIV Site
I was trying to find out some Axiv spec but site seems to be under construction with the promo for the new X series shaft. Would any one have more information on new shaft?

how to modify my gf premium zone #1
If it is not working out, just sell the darn thing and recover whatever you can instead of putting more in and create probably something no one wants.

9.5 Epon ZR 460 with Japan Ion Diamana Whiteboard
Don't want to tread-jack Jack but do you or Gocchin or anyoe knows the head weight of the Epon 460? I recall it was in the 197 g or thereabout, right?

9.5 Epon ZR 460 with Japan Ion Diamana Whiteboard
Sorry to hear the club did not work out for you but $600 you are asking is reasonable. Too bad I already own two (or I would consider it) and it is likely I would be reshaft one with the SIX (stiff) now with somethng a little stiffer tip.

Graphite Design Shafts...
I know this is off topic but is the cutie in your avatar the same girl as Gocchin's?

Fourteen Hi-550
I think it would be a mistake for you T. Driving irons are for those that do not like hitting FW or hybrid (but can) although they are considered just that. If you have a slow swing, a fw or wood-like hybrid would be more suitable.
-
Fourteen Hi-550
Never hit the fourteen 550 but did have the the original 4i Zoom (10 years ago?). I suspect Zoom would be easier but would prefer the more modern hybrid or fw now.

Srixon ZR-700 Iron pics!
Is it just me or my computer, but how come I have this as TSG's avatar?

can anyone comment on Fourteen ut106.
Think of it as a scale down version of Hi-bore and you would get the picture.

Driver for senior mid-high handi
I cannot really make any recommendation as I am not a fitter but almost a senior Asian golfer. You cannot have the same swing speed for a driver which is 45 inches the same as a 5 irons which is 30 some inches long. I can understand the 5 iron being 75 mph but same as the swing for a driver? It would mean that one would purposely slow the driver swing so much. Perhaps it is best to see a fitter or a professional for help.
