Alohano, There's a set locally I have had my eye on but can't figure out the flex ratings of PRGR. Do you know what they are?

Ok. I thought you had experience of both. I might fit the MW64 better as well. I have just bought the MW64 US$110 new, but in X flex I was trying to figure out if it is worth playing or maybe trading for something that may fit me better. Money does get to be an issue if you keep buying Fuji Sixes and they keep breaking.

Why? What was your experience on the MW64 vs the Axiv (which model?)
  4. Mixing the 33 & 37 together was in the hopes of getting a lower ball flight with the short irons, now I dont know by how much especially with the lower C.O.G grind. No real goal in mind, these will be my 6th set of custom mizzys if I were to keep them and my first set of 3-Tier combos didnt have the grind option. What the minimum number on a set 8pcs? I was thinking 5-PW because I have a Flihi 21 and am looking into a 24 as well.
  5. Can I ask what was the thought process behind mixing two existing blades 33-37 that have different playing characteristics together? What was the goal in mind? These irons look so sweet. I keep telling myself what if I decide to sell most of everything and play just two sets, one being custom Miz.

How does the MW64 play? I have chance to get one (X flex) new at a pretty good price when I was looking for a replacement for my Six that broke in my Cobra 400SZ Tour head. For reference- I played the Six S flex tipped 1" in a R580XD Tour head just fine (before I sold it). I didn't have enough time with it in the Cobra before it broke. I'm also playing a R7TP/stock Japan Diamana 73xct S flex perfectly well because this combo doesn't seem to pull hook???. My other driver a Tourstage XDrive TXD65 S flex I find about a half of a flex soft for me.
  7. My X Blades are gone and I miss them already. Quite forgiving for a blade. Bending them 1 degree weaker will reduce the slight tendency to dig and will get you a more "normal" 48* PW. The MR23s look better but the X Blades perform better IMHO.

Link to pics of my gamers. These are the only complete sets I have left. A few drivers and putters that I'll take ics of later on.

I play all 3 as well. I have similar observations to chris but my preference is the other way. I like the X01 first, X01S second and the X01H last. X01 is the most drop and stop of the 3. I fly everything to the hole and stop it there, even on short pitches. X01 spins the most. Feel: softest to hardest- X01S, X01, X01H (H feels like the B330Tour) Distance: X01S and X01H I would say the same with the H seeming to be a tad more on irons, X01 shorter but not by much. It is probably roll that gives th S and H the distance ver the X01. The H was quite a disappointment for me. The X01 and X01s, even though they are a 2 year old model balls still have superior tech in them for my game. Chris, I have a Precept 333 Tour Premium-X that I picked up. I posted a pic over at Golfwrx. Do you know anything about this ball and the Tourstage equivqlent. Strangely though it has a triple digit number which is normally associated with Srixon.
  10. The Japan retail R7TP diamana plays like........
  11. Can I buy just 3-5 iron to combo with MP32s?

Thank you for the reply. I went another way. Retail Cobra 400SZ Tour to match my Cobra Forged SS and another puter for the collection instead.
  13. Couldn't get feedback on any boards. I decided to go cheap retail instead. I got a Cobra 400SZ Tour and another Bett instead.
  14. If I'm not wrong, That is Izawa's shaft...right?Joe Not sure on that Joe. IIRC in the previous iterations of the X Drive I think Toshi's shaft was the "Type 7" which was Tourstage's version of the 757? I find the TXD 65 S flex a tad soft for me in my X Drive 390. That is why I'm hoping the TXD 70 in X flex might be just right. Most TS/XDrive shafts I have tried seem to play soft. Maybe TS puts an "S" on the R flex from the shaft manufacturer. I hope they put a "X" on the S :smile1:
  15. Joe, any experience on the Tourstage TXD70 supposedly the Diamana Stinger. I'm so close from buying it Willy.
  16. Tell our friend if he can price them that way or a little better I'll be getting one for sure. I'm not so much into the CS vs SS thing anyway. I still putt like crap no matter what material the putterl Did anyone see the loft on their irons? My PW will be going 155yards at those lofts
  17. IIRC Honma filed last June 20? Which model does he have of the 460RF? There are a couple. Honma>Syard is from my experience with these clubs and people with slower SS. The S Yards might be a tad longer but are harder to hit consistently. Also craftmanship, finish, and durability seem to be better on genuine Honma products.
  18. Chris will take of you purchase wise. If you want to now how they perform though I have hit a few models but not the latest ones. IMHO though if he is spending $1k get him the new Honmas. Even though Honma went under last month their last few products were very very good for the slower SS golfer with lots of $$$. The latest 420RF something comes to mind. We have a fellow TSG'r friend with a 4 star 420RF that even though he can hit well I know is willing to part with it.
  19. We had the Zs over here in SE Asia but with the NS Pro 950 as the stock shaft offering. I have a US set that I just bought off ebay. When it is done reshafting I will compare with my buddy's Zs that had he bought in HK and had the NS Pros.

How does the TXD 70 in the new TS XDrive 405 play? True to flex?

IMHO the "Cat" sits/grounds at address the best among the huge MOI putters.
  22. These are a nice big head which actually have less offset than the big berthas. The offset at address is probably the same as the Fusion irons.

Played all 3 side by side yesterday. We were a threesome with a total handicap of 20 playing behind 6 groups of fivesomes that seemed to average 20-25 per player. Slow 6 hour round. Basically played 3 balls every other shot. It seems on actual performance with the 3 balls side by side that the H is the B330 (NOT S) Tour. The swing was off because of the not being able to develop a rhytym but it is more in the short game where the differences between the balls appear anyway. It was probably the color that made me think the H was closer to the 330-S. The 330 is just so white it looks like a topflite hot XL making me think it is as hard as one.

Thank you for the suggestions. If it weren't for my short game and putting right now I probably would be shooting in the high 80's in this "swing slump".

IIRC the Mitsubishis (2 or 3 models available as stock) used by TM were the Lightning and the Lightning Tour Series. These shafts were very good considering the weren't as $$$ most of the other Mitsu offerings.
