  1. I believe this are called the NanoV. Actually a little older than the Ezone. There was some love a year or two ago but they haven't seemed to do much lately and you know how we're ADD when it comes to gear...
  2. Out of curiosity, why would flex be meaningful? I sucked for a long time, arguably still do, but would never have been able to control an R or SR. Or is it because those are the only flexes the 10.5 comes in?
  3. I was referring to bounce and spin, my use of graphite is kinda irrelevant to this. I simply added that detail as at least the shaft is relevant to wedge performance and I am not using the stock shaft. My comparisons would have been to the Crazy Toyoshima, Yamaha '11, RomaRo SX and Alcobaca, and lastly especially bounce related the Maruman KS Zero... I can do another thread on graphite iron shafts but that will take a little time… Am still learning the current ones, Recoil and Thump...
  4. I had the 56* and 60* both bent 2* down trying to reduce the bounce. I am more sweeper/swinger than aggressive downward so tend to use/need/want less bounce in my wedges. Tough not referencing other products...
  5. I am not one for range sessions so I have no range time with it. I have ~3 rounds in the bank with them and as I am not playing for HC yet have been intentionally playing shots short, left and right in order to warrant hitting the wedges under different conditions. First couple of rounds was the stock build from the Tour Van using Tour Attas 110 X flex PW shafts, so not a special wedge shaft. Todays round, added my standard 44g weight to butt end of the club. Initially, I seem to be making contact more towards the toe for most shots other than short bump and run/chips. Anything with a longer backswing. This was causing some inconsistencies, especially on full swings. Yes, I am one of those guys that takes a full sing with my wedges. 120-130 with a 50*, 110 isn with a 54 and about 95 with the 60*. I am much more partial to full swings than partial ones. I could not get a consistency with the 54* on full shots, only the 50* was working for me on that. Since dropping in the weights this morning have gotten much better contact and consistency on full swings with the 54*. Spin is good and can get it to back up pretty well with these on the harder swings. On the short chip and bump and runs, they are like throwing darts and seem to spin like crazy. I have had to adjust my distances with these throwing them longer to avoid the dreaded check up 10' short. They seem incredibly easy to pinch the ball perfectly, especially with the 60*. So far my biggest challenge, now that the back weights are in is the high flop. There is a little too much bounce for my swing, definitely need to adjust to these for that kind of shot. As you asked for no comparisons, I will end it there...
  6. I'm a Belieber too… Contemplating a shaft change though, or tipping the shaft that is there a tad. Am finding it prone to a bigger draw than I am after. Distance is great, feel is good too...

Got that much from the box. Most balls seem to be targeted based on SS and the other characteristics are basically spin vs distance but still rooted in SS. The trajectory is usually across brands or different lines like NXT vs V1/(x). Was unclear based on the info on the box whether the F or D was geared in a similar way around a SS as well. Thanks again T, you stepped it up a notch on this one.

Think this is the right forum for this post... Got a call today from DHL indicating that I had a package coming. As I didn't remember having anything else in the pipeline I had my curiosity piqued. Also hoping it wasn't ricin laced… In any case a couple of hours after the phone call a package is delivered and it is from S-Yard. Way back when I bought my custom T.388 it shipped without a head cover. Tario was kind enough to inquire about it for me and I had since forgotten. Low and behold nicely packed away in the box is my S-Yard head cover, a human head cover and a dozen S-Yard Balls. Not sure if it was S-Yard customer service or TSG's but it was a nice touch either way and the other should take a note. I am not one to look at the freebie fairy and say no. Although I am sure with the various personalities on this forum we could come up with quite a few scenarios where I would, say no that is. In this particular case, I was very happy to receive them. I had noticed in some of the S-Yard posts started by Chris and Tario that there were these S-Yard logo'd balls and asked at one point for some more information. Are the made by the same folks that make the Epon ones, same ball different markings or a different path to similar results. Still curious but I have some answers of my own... Not sure if I would have chosen the higher trajectory ball, but am not really a distance ball kinda guy either so it is probably the better ball for me... Any comments from Tario, Tatsuro or Chris with some details would be nice...
  9. In spite of the mixed opinion on the matter I will try and post some additional info as I gain more experience with the clubs...
  10. Need a little more time with both, but my initial comparisons are as follows Denser feel from the TS909. The Yams have a slightly more crisp feeling. Distance is consistent between the two and seem to have comparable trajectories. Take that with a grain of salt as they are different shafts, Thumps in the Yam and Recoils in TS. Also, the Yams are 1/8" shorter on each club. Don't think that is going to have any real impact as on the TS I grip down a hair... Right now, if I could only choose one to play I would opt for the TS909 over the Yam, but the Yam over the TS905. The 909 vs the Yam is extremely close at this point, am really splitting hairs. The 905 vs the Yam is definitive. Mind you we are only talking about a couple of partial rounds with either...
  11. If that is what no click means to you. I definitely prefer the feel of the 909 to that of the 905. The 909 seems to have a more dense feeling. Similarly the sound at impact is a muted thud compared to the click on the 905.
  12. Size comparisons to other blades out there today?
  13. You can get used to it, the click that is. Then you play something like the RomaRo Pro,'13 Yam or the TS 909. It makes you think why would I want to get used to it. Can get all of the communication and no click, I'll go that route, thank you very much...
  14. Simple look till you get to the sole… Very nice putter indeed… GLWS

That is a nice little setup there… You ever think about adopting? If so I never really liked my parents anyway...

Maybe I should just bring it back and have the shaft partially inserted. See if that fixes the issue. How much tip equals 1/2 flex?

Low T... It happens with age...

This is in reference to the Crazy 435. My builder commented on how high on the shaft the hosel went. That coupled with a shaft I thought I could handle, the QFE Proto 65x all I am getting are fades.

Does the depth of shaft insertion impact the stiffness of the shaft? Deeper insertion causes a shaft to play stiffer to flex and shorter insertion drives a looser feel...
  21. Did the number indicate the cc volume? If so and you wanna move it along...

    What about ONOFF?
  23. Mine had attempted delivery today, will pick up tomorrow morning. Chiro, my address is always usable, just make sure to order in my flex...
  24. Try the Recoil by UST. They seem to be the hot thing right now...
