not seen the p2s in hand . , but if unlce says they are good , then they must be perrrrrrrrrrrrty nice. personally..., im also not that big a fan of thier look in photos. and i really liked the p1s in hand, love that look. the more i fondle the srixons tho, the more i drooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. swapped out the shaft in the masdas on sat for a test run, put the aerotech 110x in it instead of the c-taper really good switch.. was a terrific session smoother feel, but felt heavier actually. not sure how.., fligh was low mid nad quite long. these had a bit more distance to them. than the nippon protos, but that expected. landing was def lower. really really good clubs for my wind i think, ill leave these back home they going in them full time now

well.............. as expected , these are NOT for the airy fairy striker. they are TINY at address. micro thin and quite daunting at first. had themout on grassrange yesterday for a huge workout with the prgr idbls as a palcebo firstly the offest i was fearing is NON existant, no issue what so ever. esp vs the idbls which have none, so that point is now moot. and the 8-9-pw are seriosus weapons of flag destruction spent the longest time hitting these into flags with all kinds of atakc patters, LOVED THEM ! absolutely LOVE hitting these to the greens. the modus 125 are a super match as well. higher than the 130s and 120s. a more balanced feel than the 130s, not as head heavy in SW. distance was NOT great. but they are a real accuracy tool. flight was MUCH better than i anticipated ,they didnt move laterally anywhere near as much as i was expecting, which was great. kinda balanced out the tiny gulp look of them with some NS forgiveness left/right. feel...hmmmmmm not everyones cup of tea, they are DEFINATLY clickier. denser more solid feel. BUT not in a bad way. no siree. centred shots are primo.. off centre and u know about it. which isnt a bad thing. but u do loose distance. i stand by my thoughts id not play these on overly long courses. but on tricky little pete dye things , these cud be terrific, esp taking aim at flags. i loved doing this with these. more so, by a long way than with my fav prgr idbls. id go so far as to say id take them to hawaii no probs at all as the second set. play them ever y3rd day. and realy look to see what the do in breeeeezy conditions, im pretty sure they d go ok. but distnce loss cud be a factor. theres gotta be some though about matching a set of 4-5-6-7 idbl with 8-9-pw in these, or somehting like that. bec the longer irons didnt really get my blood boiloing near what the prgr did. not even close. bit too thin feeling to be nice in the long irons,. i summary...... id prob not have these as my only set of sticks, bec on a bad day i think ud score a a basketaball number. but if ur hitting it well ,they are excellent. no complaints at all. also stand by the comment they are mustard looking in yr bag. they look awsome.! yea good , very veyr good blades for guys loking for that something differnt. but i feel they wud be served best as a hybrid set with thicker shorter long irons to the 8 then as they are to pw. yea, ill game them a bit for sure!

astro tour drivers............ whos heard of them ?
supo replied to supo's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
ok, i played this, shafted with FEX 65x at 45 inch frstly distance with it is pretty darn good up there no doubt. its a lower launcher than i thought. 9*, (real loft is 9.5*) its anti left as ud expect with the quadra. weighs 316 gram so got into it pretty well handles a bit of giddy up no probs at all. feel ,hmmmmmmmmmmmm very much like the jbeams.very muted, and thats with a fex! wasnt that much a fan of it sound feel , ( im not with the jbeam either but thats my no1 ddriver) make no mistake, where the ball went its no ho-dad! liked the head shape , kinda elongated oval, with distinctive groove pattern evident at address. frames the pill nicely and getting it centred is pretty easy. all round didnt mind this 1 bit. played very well. it doenst seem to have that electirc wow factor i love. but for an easy to hit (and , i found it pretty forgiving .. ) head this is not bad at all . no idea where its gonna fit into my arsenal, but i might keep it around for a bit for tour golf. -
Hmmmmmmmm, not heard a bad word ever about the p2 . Offset pw tho??

honma getting endo to do their stuff??? what about sakata?
-
intersting this.... my callway erc 3 from 7-8 yrsd back which is about as no frills u can go in a driver . and its is without doubt as long as anyhing out now. it was also an 800 buck head made at endo of course..., the thing is , its not as forging as todays brutes/ i , miss hit it , i loose lots of distance. i get it sweet .. man its AS good as everything. As for the yamaha drivers, i think the last 2 years effors have been totally lame-o go back to the 2013 and previous, all the way back to 2008, that driver is magnificent. search ..... the fun is in the exploration sir..!

oh yea. the long drive guys use them bizare shape , i was lokign at one last night, white , green thing, looks daunting -
Id been eying this head for a while, but never had the inkling to try it until... i saw it in the drakon net at the tokyo golf show along side the krank and jbeam. that piqued my interest to say the least. so, quadra fire express 65x shafted one will go head to ehad with the justick 435 diamana X this weekend . just one session with it so far. its prety low and piercing i thought. 9* about 316 gram. any one else know anything about it ?? this one.

Ryoma Beyond Power Driver & New 2015 Utility
supo replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
join that thinking. .. i hit some absolute monters with it consistantly longer than with the v-spec but ......................all over the place.! -
its a litte clickier. bec the original milling is ultra thin. but it has a distinctive pop to it, the thicker putters have a real soft "general " all round feel to them, the mz is like a blade, u know when u got it and when u missed it. its by far my fave golden oldie i think ive got 5 of them . saving a plc for the kids when they grow up got them with different milling, but i think i like the orignal micro the best
-
ok fess up................ whos is the HM mz-07 errr unless thats mine????

i like the long neck tungsten weigths with the copper insert. that has no bell whistles and just screams qaulity. know what im gettign done next now..!!!!
