played this on saturday with a GD bb7s shaft. head at about 198 gram... it got he ball up a bit more , much better than it did at 205 gram. but i found it too much like a few others i already have. the shaft selection in this head is a an excellent match. the BB is a little on the higher laucnh side with LOW spin, and the "feel" match is great, the jbeam tends to dull a lot of shafts, but the BB suited it a good as any. veyr nice surprise.. but.............., its replicates too many divers i have esp the jbeam 425 tour. which appears im keeping . so........... i want to trade the 9* for a 10 or preferably 10.5 * 435 head chaps. prob keep the BB 7s in it as it was a great match if theres one floating about then im keen. cheers........,

-
think so yea. its got a difernt feel its much harder than the curent models
-
for forgivness yes... the 2012 is better thanth the previous models.. BUT its also more wokrable. of the older heads my fav was the 2008. all face., big round and wholesome...!
-
just saw this in a shop today. looks good same design on the shaft as the p9 might have to sell a cpl of mine and get one i think
-
ahhhhhhhhhh enjoyed is a differnt thing... i think the best shaft out now is the diamana X for the harder hitter.., my all time fav shaft is the diamana stinger............ the quadra fire express when im hitting the ball with a nice turn is magnificent.
-
talk to me guys.... got my eye on a set and they LOOK fantasitco. whos played them and can give feedback ?
-
how did this re surface,, there no new post on it.. but diamaan for me . overall. over time.. gold standard
-
hey that wii be a good build ull love those 301s...,
-
oh good lord.......... these might just be THE best iron set to ever to appear or BST, along with spoons copper ones. the shafts on these for people who dont know them,, and i know them INTIMATLY.. asi paly 2 sets of these in X.., are magnificent to play. strong flight with a high launch but with a defintie arc ..NOT drop out fallout of the sky like modus 3. they are the protos for the 1150 ns shafts these are magnificent... imagine a slightly harder ns 1150, and this is what u have. jee this must have been a tough decision..,
-
for that price... jump onit.
-
MOST definatly...! my graphire design p9003x shafted 44.25 inch driver at 10.5* takes some equalling . let alone beating and it doesnt really go 'that "high. i can play this in a typhoon.
-
right.., i think i ve had more time.., with this than eveyone here combined , (to a very large power .) so i think i can offer some learned thoughts . i get the feeling peolpe arnt paying close enough attention to certian un waverign facts about this head... bec these are getting popular and a lot of dialogue is going on. my heads are... 9.5*--10*---10.5*---12* firstly.... this head is a "ka-tink..." sounding head. its NOT soft. its NOTHING like a comfotrtbale ENDO head. its solid, and its hard. it suits smashers. its a big rounded compact style head.., it has a huge face that does NOT sit like a symetrical head. the face shape is DESIGNED to be anti left. hence WHY I SUGGESTED to get this square at worst......., ! for anyone not a natural draw ball hitter... or a slugger of pujols proportions..., then it shud be sqaure or up to 0.5* CLOSED IMO when u see how high the toe is compared to the heel of the face u will see why! i think i made it clear when i first posted this , that THIS head was really really LOW.. the first shaft i hit in it was the attas red thing. 9.5* and as i said.................. JUMP, dont duck.......! so out she wemt and in went the stinger to the 9.5* head. beceasue the stinger while being low spinning gets the ball in the air... still..., it didnt get it as high, as i expected. to which i was a bit ......dismayed......, it wasnt till alter that i discovered the weight a port arangement makes much more of an impact to this head than switching shafts around.... and. ithink ive mentioned enough, ask for several difernt weights ... bec the differnce is HUMONGOUS. the 9.5* head at 198 gram is LOW. the 10* is mid low. the 10.5* is mid high. the 12* is very high. they all dont want to go left. so... the idea is to match this up with something that you can smash ur bottom hand thru with bec theree NO fear of it going hook badly. the best matched shaft for hard pullers MIGHT be the quadra fire express. iahd that in it and it was so long i was amazed, but my misses go right so disaister awaits me every hit with this. hated pulling it bec how long it was . but "safety first" the loft MOST guys shud be looking at is HIGHER than lower for all but hte brutes. FOR ME..... 10* with 70 weighted shaft is fine 10.5* with an 80 weighted shaft is perfect nad 9.5* with somehting "light " might suit .. havnt goe that road yet tho. if ur going this route... remember its anti left by nature. its low. its low spin and ligher weights "seem" better suited than heavy. if ur err. err on the higher loft not the lower one thsi head is a kapoooooooooooooooooooooooooooow head ONLY !!!!!!!!!

man if i got that far towards flat ib be happy.

echo these thought exactly. straight high bomber. with a crazy a sigma 50 shaft one day in july last yr. iwas hitting this further higher than anything ive ever hit before. on my home course. i didnt like it i nthe wind tho it blew about a bit. and it lost a lot of distance. but in hot humid conditions. this was a cannon of the highest order. i really shoud investigate that again for all carry high bombs... for certain days.
-
now.. THAT .........., looks like a proper golfers swing...! hmmm that set up sure sounds good. 9* 460 head with a labomba . triangle back for launch.. huge face for smashing... 80t shaft ... oh-oh... got me thinking....... next time bring ya clubs carl-san.... we got golf to play!
-
im forcing my slef to play the roy coll this weekend the 305 v to see what the diffactualy is on course. hard for me to take the egg out of the bag.. but i MUST!
-
doc dazza...., the crazy red in 7.4 might make this feel a bit "dull" if that is working fine in the 410.. leave it...! ive hit plenty of shafts in the ryoma and the stand outs are the crazy cb80 ls noir my (current shaft at 44.875 inch) THE best match, just got the head sltightly heavier and improved the performance of this driver dramatically. GD p9003x (current driver in OZ ) at 44.5 inch perfect..... perfect .. perfect... heavy straight controlled. the diamana stinger.. gets the ball higher nad makes htis head feel just awsome . might be better feel than the ls noir.. certianly not worse. the quadra fire express 75 s should be perfect as well, higher launch will make htis head sing. roddio shingo spec (09) , for the slower swinger THIS is no 1 , my mate picked up 20+ yards CONSISTANTLY with this set up at 46.75 inch is SS would be 100 tops. porb more like mid 90s. he kills htis set up.. kills it. stay away for mthe diamana X .. i have so far.. , unless u got 10.5 * ... IMO the coupling of 2 lowies will kill any carry. the crazy sigma was too much bananna with head at 202. too heavy . not enough head speed. great feeling tho . maybe in 198 and lower head weight htis would be terrific. bec this shaft goes high.
-
pretty good evolution to the 2nd gen huh...i think these are so far away form the otiginal , they shouldnt be linked. the original is NOTHING like this one what so ever. thereis NO link they dont look the same, feel the same , play hte same. they shud be considered different tools completley. id say "when" not if... u pop that fex in it.... u might liek it even more..!
-
well if its anything like the feel of the new zero. there will be tousands of clubs for sale on bst by the end of the yr!
-
it looks................ exactly like the 102.
