WTB: TS 909 MB's
Looking for new or excellent condition Tourstage 909 blades. Preferably Modus3 stiff shafts. Also looking for long irons in the TS 709 CB, 4-6 iron preferably. Got lots of stuff to trade if interested, loads of iron sets (Yamaha, Miura) and Drivers (Maxima, TS, etc). LMK whatcha got and maybe we can sort it out.

Anybody still playing the RomaRo HX 460?
You know if the hi-cor version will be hook-faced and/or gold?

Driving #2 #3 #4 Iron option
I've got the current Srixon 3 and 4 ute/di and, after flattening the lie angle a couple of degrees, they work and feel great.

Anybody still playing the RomaRo HX 460?
I first got it and thought it had a bit too much bulge after a couple sessions. Took it out recently and re-discovered it. Got over the bulge and his thing just bombs it. VERY forgiving, almost as much as the Maxima, but with better feel and trajectory. Much more solid-feeling. Makes my Yamaha Tour seem unforgiving, and I thought it was ok forgiveness-wise. Just haven't heard much about it after the launch. It's in the bag for now; Yam Tour, Maxima, S-Yards, TS 907 are all back in the garage

Miura Giken Japan - CB1007 "Y-Grind" Iron Heads
I don't know if the photos are of my set, but I will say that's a damn fine set of irons, even if they are fake. haha These are some of the best-looking-at-address irons I've had. And they have the typical Miura feel, dense and firm, but solid. And Miura ball flight, stable and piercing. Yep, pretty damn good fakes.

Romaro Ray 455 LX Gold
With the RomaRo 460HX, the gold version is a lighter head for using with a longer shaft and has a closed face angle, the description of this 455LX includes the sentence "Comparatively, high coefficient of rebound". Their translations are often hilarious and confusing, but this might be saying it's over the .088 or whatever the legal limit is.

New M.A.C GF putter design - CHRONOS
You may be right. I used to be a Scotty Cameron fan til I realized that only about one in 4 or 5 of his putters off the rack have the sweet spot in the middle of the face. Some towards the toe, some towards the face. I'd always assumed that the CG was where the line on the flange was, even told that by shops.

Battle Within A Doctrine - Miuraism SC-01 vs SB-02
I've got a serious crush on those SB-02's. Exact profile/shape of the BB's but slightly larger. Must resist........

Can the RomaRo UT Hosels be bent?
Is it potentially more dangerous to bend a ute for loft or for lie? Or maybe no difference? I've bent some iron-type utes that were cast, not forged (Tourstage), for lie angle with no problem but IDK about the wood-types. Guess it depends on the softness of the metal and length of hosel.

Miura CB 1007 versus RomaRo Ray H
I gotta chime in and say one man's "harsh" is sometimes another man's "solid". Now, harsh can also mean hard and "clicky", which the Miura's are not. But "solid" as opposed to "squishy" soft, such as the Yamaha's and some others. In other words, some prefer solid and dense or "harsh", and some prefer soft or "squishy". Which pretty much sums up which adjective they use to describe the feeling. I like both for variety, so I mix in a couple sets of Miura's (one of them the 1007 y-grind) and TS then change up to some Yam's and Mizuno Yoro's for a softer feel. Said it a million times but ultimate softness is not the Holy Grail IMO. Variety is. Just ask Tsupo. haha

Another custom paint job on my 435
That looks awesome! I've thought about doing that to one of my drivers but don't have anybody to do it. May put one of those sticker things on one of them that has some scuffs on the crown.

Fourteen CT 112 driver..... WOW!
My Japanese is a little rusty (actually nonexistent) but are there 2 different shafts for the 46.5" and 47" drivers? Looks like maybe the same shaft cut down cuz the SW drops a couple points on the shorter one from the 47. Is this right? Just get the 47 and choke down half an inch if that works better, no need to bother with the 46.5. May be worth a shot, ain't THAT much money. I agree with Chris though, Fourteen woods always seem to look like a pancake that got poked with a stick for some reason, funky little joint at the neck.

BALDO - A few shots of new Night Driver and Proto Forged Wedges
Is that Night Edition driver only for those times when we play in the dark? Or on lighted courses? Edit: oh, I just saw the knight stamping on the L in BALDO.....

Effect of Lie Angle on DRIVERS
Since most FW's nowadays have a fairly rounded sole, turf contact isn't affected too much. For drivers, this is not an issue. As far as direction, I've read from knowledgable sources that the lie angle effect on direction/curvature is not impacted nearly as much as with higher-lofter clubs. Meaning that if your driver is 59* and your optimal lie angle is 55*, there wouldn't be more than a small off-line effect. Whereas if your 8-irom was 3 degrees off, it would be further off-line.

club head speed vs carry distance
Those numbers sound right for TOTAL distance. 230-250 with low 90's swing speed. Your original post said 230-240 CARRY, which would require at least upper 90's.

2013 TourStage 709 MC Thread... UPDATED w/Review
Glad to hear. Just ordered a set after eyeing them for months. Been rotating Miura BB's, '12 Yam Tours, Miura CB-1007's, and Mizuno Yoro MP-64's and looking for something to shelve them all. Hopefully these?

laser milled face...form or function???
I love a good passive brag! haha, jk I agree, I don't think the milling really does anything as far as performance. My Yamaha Tour irons have this and I can't tell where it makes a difference. Just looks nice until you wear it out. They're just little micro grooves that aren't gonna affect the spin. There are a lot of people that think that grooves don't make a whole lot of difference anyway. I'm not sure. My Miura custom grind wedges don't have much groove left and they spin as well as they did when new. BTW, remember when they said the tour pros were gonna suffer when they couldn't use their square grooves anymore? lol They still suck their wedges like nobody's business. I've always preferred a good, consistent spin over total zippity-doo-da anyways.
