Advice on how to clean a Yamada Burning Copper?
I'd second the use of Bar Keepers Friend. Easy to apply, works great. Can get it on Amazon.

Refinished Clubs.... Show & Tell.
I just got an A-Grind wedge back that I had done in the smoked copper, and as I told Chris, I've never felt anything better on an iron in my life. I hope to post a review with pics later in the week...

Yeah, 2007 was my last TM's, too. Beautiful simple CB's similar to these and with the flag in the cavity. Think they were called XD's or something like that. Chuck, I feel your pain/gain matrix. ;=]. It does come down to taste on some level. I hear the great things about PRGR, too, but for me their stuff is... well... ugly. Not quite where TM has gone -- ie, in the toilet -- but for JDM, for me, it's crass looking. Feel would have to be off the charts for me not to have nightmares about the look... Good luck in your search. (And with giving up ho'ing... ;=]. )

I would echo what Stew said about the A-Grind R1 CB. Incredibly solid club, dense hit, beautiful brushed satin look in the bag. My personal best scoring number on my home course with OTi shafts in this club.

Where are the cart bags?
I'd think a "niblick" guy would prefer walkers...

Nice write-up. Thanks for taking the time. Still in love with my 7D-Blackout combo, which just keeps getting better on me no matter what I throw at it.

Putter Shaft
It's light, yes. I like light in just about all my clubs.

Putter Shaft
Love the UST FF. For me it feels like my hands are in touch with nothing but the grip, the head, and then, at impact, the ball.

Copper Nirvana --- part 2
Thanks, R, always look forward to seeing what shows up in your bag too.

Copper Nirvana --- part 2
Well, the dilemma has definitely been resolved -- in favor of the P2's. There is just no comparison to the feel, control, trajectory (using MCI shafts), the length, and the workability of the P2's -- even though these OnOff's are what I would have called nirvana had I not gotten my hands on the P2's... Will probably be putting these up on the BST if I can face letting them leave home...

Anyone try swapping out driver heads from a Haute Couture 7D shaft ?
Good question. I haven't tried that yet, but I have a Zero Kai head sitting here jealously eyeing the 7D on the t388 in the corner bag... <g>
