Wedge shafts
I've moved the WV into all my wedges. It flies a little lower than the Modus for me, and spin is deadly but controllable.

TSG's Top 5 Wedges!
Oh, man, wedge love time, this is the party room.....................! I've yet to have a round where I didn't express my undying love for the A-Grind 56-onset. All the sweeter to have one in satin and one in smoked copper (maybe the best looking and feeling finish I've ever come across). Party on, Chris!

Love cats, too. Feel free to post pics any time. Chris and I tried to start a thread for it, but cats and their people being what (and who) they are, it didn't cooperate... <g>

A- GRIND 3 WOOOD TEST
Thanks for another great review, S. Can I ask, since I know you've hit both, how would you compare it to the XV ? Mine is starting to show some age. I've got that new Grandista on the way, and it was between that and the A-Grind for me.

diamana fubuki iron shafts
Eyes wide here, too, to hear this from you. This is the way I've been feeling about the OTi's lately, but very interested to hear it from the big swing steel contingent. Haven't tried those Fubuki's -- maybe down the road. Have you ever swung the OTi's. I'd be curious to hear a comparison there.

Winter training!!
RLL33 replied to nobmontana's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearGolf Rx is a program in a book by Dr. Vijay Vad who works with guys on the tour. Core strength, yoga, etc, for golf. I've been doing it for years. Great all around work, especially if you've ever had back problems.

YORO DREAM
Yeah, it's spilling into my sleep -- or lack thereof... <g> I think I'm about to do something I haven't done before and keep two bags at the club... Yoro's are just so smooth. AG's are positively fun! The P2's cannot believe they're back in my office corner, but I do still love to look at them. (I think I'll stop there as I'm tempted to do a Stew-type younger girl comparison... ... ... )

SMOKED COPPER A-GRIND BLADES
D, in a perfect test, they would both had to have had the same finish. I'd say though that the smoked copper changed the feel more than the satin copper on the P2's. There's something about this process that produces a different effect than all other coppers I've played. I first noticed it when I had that A-Grind wedge done. I keep coming back to Chris's use of the word "sticky. " It's like the difference between the surface of a fresh ball and one that is played. There's a quality of stickiness that just feels cool. Actually it's hot -- the ball jumps off the face, but at the same time it feels like you can control action on it better. Big props to TSGwks for whatever they're doing.

Have to agree! Thanks, Nob-san!

SMOKED COPPER A-GRIND BLADES
Special thx to you on these, Stew -- those are your AG's, but the smoked copper adds a whole other dimension to the feel. Surprising, but I actually like these better than the P2's. They're just as precise, but feedback is smoother to the ear and hands somehow. Just love them. Can't say enough good about Ako-san. (Glad I talked you into letting me have these. < g > Thx, man. )

YORO DREAM
Thanks, guys, they play like a dream, too. Wonderful sound and feel. And with the OTi shafts, the whole experience is like whipped butter. Can't imagine a better combo set.

Grandsita's RS-F is VERY Good!
I'm going for the 16-deg. I have a hole on my home course that is a blind 3-wd off the tee over a rising hill, and sometimes I skim the top of the hill when I hit my XV 3-wd. I want to keep the XV's distance, as there's a fwy bunker about 200 out on the right, but a little more height might be just the ticket.
