388 users what reshaft has worked for you?
TourSpecGolfer replied to bruinduke's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The Royal Deco's are a tuff call. I've had some of my longest ever with it but also the most wildly high weird shots. We tend to move people away from the RD now as it fits a very narrow range of player. For me personally in 388 I use the crazy boron. love that shaft it's my go to. I think it fits a more aggressive tempo. -
I'm giving the 77 a shot as well but where I would disagree is in saying that the Diamana X, Diamana Stinger and GD BB fit players of all abilities. Stew-san is a very powerful player so his context of easy is different. I could not handle all three of those shafts with great results. We are all different in so many ways and this is a problem we see almost daily, guys read the board buy the HOT shaft and end up wondering why their bad shots get worse. It goes like this :) I ordered the Diamana X, 1 week later all my slices are bigger and the ball barely gets off the ground.. So tell me about your swing.. 100mph everything goes straight.. Now tell me about your real swing.. 92mph and I slice all day.. The X wasn't the right choice :( But everyone in the forum said it was the best.. Another thing is fitting with tempo seems to find better results than fitting by flex. Fitting by weight has a lot to do manipulating tempo as well. We see a lot of, I got the right flex & weight shaft but it still don't work, shaft must suck yet my pal hits it perfect. I started taking more notes of what type of results I get from different shafts within all that I see the same problems showing up and being solved by the same types of shafts. The industry has dumbed it all down so much. The accurate flex and bend profiles broken into tip/mid/butt is what we need to back to.

These hold value very well. Beautiful putter!

haha! I'm afraid too, my dive instructor says your lucky if you see one in the ocean, being from Hawaii we always see sharks in the ocean and know people who have been bit. Its often a case of mistaken identity as the shark thinks your a seal. You never hear of sharks attacking divers though, usually it's the surfers.

I'm not so picky when it comes to grips. I do play TSG velvets a lot bug I also like Iomic & Muziik.

New kid on the block: Triple X - TRPX?!
TourSpecGolfer replied to mauvanilla's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
It's still proto not in it's final specs, not sure what will make it to market. -
It does a lot for things that you may not expect like CG location & forgiveness & flight pattern, A lot of people think it only has to do with turf impact.

ONOFF 358 Fairway wood..... what do you think?
TourSpecGolfer replied to nobmontana's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
which one was it? the bbd or the bbd? One thing I like about RC is that they stay close to their roots with great feeling compact players woods year after year. How would you compare the shaft to the FW80? -

club head speed vs carry distance
TourSpecGolfer replied to chuxiaoben's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
very good contact. for the average 100mph swinger the actual total distances are about 256 from what I've seen. I don't think 88mph could get someone to 230-240 unless hit totally perfect in the right conditions. -
Just about anyone would take this over the normal 458 but I agree it seems a bit overdone. These are heavily edited pictures so I think in the flesh in maybe white or this red minus the stripes and with different wheels it could look absolutely insane. This should be about 70k over the normal 458. Its shocking how expensive a normal new 458 costs with decent options, about 300k + the Speciale thats 370k. I can only dream! I would rather go for a used 458 for 270k and put 30k into wheels, drop, lip & rear. Ferrari is making fewer cars, making more profits than ever, and their strategy has really kept resale rock solid especially on good ext/interior color combos. I'm wondering how long before the first Speciale catches on fire?

laser milled face...form or function???
TourSpecGolfer replied to chiromikey's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
spot on about the rain. wet reduces spin significantly and somehow even when it's not raining the face gets wet from the moisture in the grass. I put a couple of months with tons of play into the bold and I noticed spin is greatest when the micro milling and grooves are cleaned out between shots, If not it just clumps up and imo reduces spin. -

This driver is legit! It's up against my Crazy 435 w/Boron and has more carry and roll it's extremely stable flies penetrating and straight, the X-line shaft we have so far has been a gem It's nothing like the boron and It reminds me of a better feeling, stronger kick, straighter flighter CB50.. maybe not really but I can't put my finger on it, it's unique and at 255cpm it feels softer and plays tighter. -
RomaRo Ray V Type R Irons...Anyone hit?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Silverscreen's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
RomaRo is a brand that I could easily play every product, the Type-R irons feel very good and are very forgiving yet doesn't look like a shovel. This and the George Spirits mono 3D I don't see myself getting rid of either one any time soon, Recoils in the 3D's and MCI's in the RomaRo's. I actually have a set of heads 5-PW that never been hit but have damage from shipping I can let go for a killer price just PM me. -
Carerra GT is on a whole other level can't believe you had one, thats just beserk. Love Porsche the GT2 and RS 991 coming in the next year! Cayman rules but I understand why porsche doesn't want to compete with the 991. You guys ever watch the TV show how it's made? Great series. Another really really great read is all 5 parts of this: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2012/07/the-making-of-the-lexus-lfa-supercar-who-what-where-and-most-of-all-why-an-inside-report-chapter-1-from-a-bar-to-bar-none/

You have the best card money can buy. Still waiting for my invite, have completed all requirements that I was told qualify us but no letter as of yet. If its an airline status game I don't think the black will do the trick. Yes milage on any airlines but the good stuff that matters like MQM's you don't get any.. nadda, zilch. But anyone with this card should be able to afford any flight they want.

Give the gun blue a try, it is used by many crafters in Japan for golf clubs. We ship it by the case to Japan as a favor to manufactures.
