  1. Thank you, it shipped today! You will get tracking shortly.
  2. Nothing typical sir. The Japanese Epic irons should be same as the U.S version with different shaft options.
  3. None of the forged CBs were made by Sakata. including 717/727/737 727 Driver was partially made by Endo yes. UT, FW for sure China. Don't let that stop you if you really like them. I just feel the need to call out brands that abuse the true meaning of Made in Japan. The more we let brands slide on this eventually chinese products will be marked made in Japan. Same thing with Tour Issue, Prototype on retail products. We can't let brands bullshit us.
  4. Thank you, can you go a little more into what shaft was installed vs what you usually play? Also how many rounds you have had to get used to them? -- There is a simple reason why Epon shapes look dated while other brands continue to evolve including brands made at Endo. It is because Epon has never invested in producing a new mold and they continue to adjust and use others older ones.
  5. Finishing they roll shafts assembly badges & paint work polishing packing and shipping etc.. They never had a forging press and they no longer run the casting machines for head manufacturing.
  6. We do not have mapped CGs on the MB. I do have on CB and MCB. Does this help = 33886.2095 mm.3 ....lol I can post screen captures that show locations but not actual height #s as the company we have map our stuff does it differently. I know what your saying and it makes perfect sense to me. Im just not sure how much of a difference 0.5mm - 1mm would make in the real world. Maybe its a big effect or maybe not. Everything in golf is so subjective that all we can do is our best to figure things out. So you are thinking a higher CG helps with descending blows? That could be.
  7. The issue is its not exactly parts. Its the head. Also to me the biggest issue is that they mark made in Japan at Sakata Factory on everything. If not this is fine. I don't think all swiss watches are made of parts from China. I am also told there are watch brands from Japan without Chinese parts. In golf there are so many people who are brand loyal while the brand lies, cheats them on price and ultimately sells a brand image to the customer.
  8. The op is looking for a replacement shaft guys so if you know of .350 aftermarket shafts please advise.
  9. Despite what I said earlier in this post I have been told that most products besides the shafts are now made in China/Vietnam etc..... but the finishing and completion of the product is done in Japan. So what do I have to say about that? Its a bummer. 90% of their products say Made in Japan at Sakata Factory on the neck. In my opinion its not ok to make a head in China and complete it in Japan then say Made in Japan. Why would I say something negative about a brand we do almost 2m a year in sales with? Because they write made in Japan on the neck. If they did not boast about how everything is made in Japan I wouldn't care. All that said the product is still great and performs well so if this is not an issue for you I am glad.
  10. We can custom order the tip size if your willing to wait.
  11. I suggest asking this question on a forum that does not focus on JDM golf equipment because all shafts in Japan are made to .335 .350 was created for durability btw.
  12. Thanks Brad, You are in line sir! You will recieve both the CB and MCB. Feel free to reshaft, all we ask is you clean them up nice before you ship them to the next TSGer.
  13. I could just copy and paste your post and apply it to me. Pre ZY-11 my driving game had issues off and on. Post ZY-11 w/ 7D my driving game has been at its best. But 435 Black out with my same 7D shaft is pretty close, I would say longer just less forgiving. Jbeam heads help me by reducing spin and keeping my shots straight
  14. Email me and I will put you on the list. I would love to hear what your comparison is.
  15. Just thought I would share some of the final steps which the factory allowed me to take photos of. In this small but difficult step they are taping up the heads to bead finish inside of the cavity for an added effect. As you can see cavity is the unpolished finish of the body. Its ready for bead blasting. Bead blast completed time to clean them.
  16. If you have a smooth swing speed you can go lighter. expect slightly softer tips higher launch less fatigue over the round you can swing smoother or slower which may help --- What weight do you use now? --- Yes as Nobs said some shafts are sub 30s now like the new Crazy.
  17. Thats wild. I have tons of feedback and notice similar feedback with the 435. Some people covet it and claim it to be the straightest and longest low spin club, I am in this boat. Yet I also see people who have difficulty getting it airborne, hate the feel and dont get the distance they expected. How do you get along with other JBeam drivers? Is there a simple reason you think the 435 was a dud for you? specs? shaft? weights installed?
  18. Had a chance to shaft up this Jbeam Galpha driver with a TRPX Xanadu to give it a whirl. First off, looking at the head at address, shape wise very reminiscent of the legendary JBeam BM 435 ( aka Crazy CRZ 435 ) . I have not checked recent stats, but at one point the BM 435 was the most popular driver used among Japanese Mid Am players in competitions. I also noticed that the paint had some colorful glitter mixed in. Adds a touch of bling to the overall look. At 445cc, it definitely looks smaller than the said volume due to the deep profile. Looking at the sole, I do like the new design where it uses a mix of IP finish and mirror chrome accents. Nicely done JBeam! Face milling is present on this model as well. It is said to provide slightly lowered spin. Before hitting a ball, I bounced a ball off the face to get a sense of what I should expect in terms of feel and sound at impact. Having tried and failed with many JBeam heads with DAT55G face, I was anticipating a slightly hollow “Klunk” sound that ended up being a deal breaker too many times… But wait.. this one’s different. More of a SP700 or 6-4 Ti type sound with a subtle metallic high pitch sound mixed in. Ohhhh Wowww! This is going to be really good!! I knew it right off. After a few warm up shots, I started to see a consistent low-mid penetrating trajectory with a baby fade. Not bad, but I normally play a straight to mini draw trajectory. BTW, I am really liking the feel of this shaft too. Very stable for a 58g shaft. Let’s see if I can move around the weight screws to get the desired trajectory. Moved the heavy weights to the heel and back. Theoretically, this should straighten the shot a bit and provide slightly higher trajectory for more carry. With this configuration, I was starting to hit the ball more consistently with a mid trajectory and straight to slight draw shots. Pretty soon I ran out of range balls and called it a day. I sure enjoyed hitting all the balls today mainly because of the drastically improved sound and feel! It still remains a mystery of exactly what material they used on this new head. But I am now very curious to know if they are utilizing the new material for the new Glorious Second driver as well… This Galpha is an excellent driver, but it is probably not the most forgiving driver on the market. Honestly speaking, I can use some added forgiveness. In cany case, this new head has changed the way I think of JBeam drivers. If you were like me and disliked JBeam drivers because of sound and feel, you should have a look at this one. Feel and sound wise, this head is comparable with Epon and Mizuno now. Of course for those die hard JBeam fans, this is one Jbeam driver that should not be overlooked. Tried and true performance now with improved sound and feel!!
  19. I asked Honma they said it will not be released. There are Honma clubs only released in Macau and other exclusive areas that are pretty bad ass and never seen anywhere.
