Korea Only Gold IP SEVEN CB!
Any of the TSG Club Works finishes would be a downgrade on the SEVEN Iron. We are taking the best finish in golf and bonding it with IP. We can also do double or triple IP which is not tested yet. We can do IP satin, matte, or mirror. The durability is outstanding. The head will not rust. The gold IP will fade in the impact areas to expose the original finish over time.

Korea Only Gold IP SEVEN CB!
ntroducing the KOREA ONLY / SEVEN CB in Gold IP Finish! For those of you who don’t have an idea what the brand SEVEN is you can get up to speed here – ( Seven Blog Posts Click Here ) . So I can already hear gold lovers grumbling about the fact that this club will be exclusive to Korea. Why!? The answer is simple and it’s that Korea likes flashy finishes. Another thing worth noting is that SEVEN is focusing on bringing exclusive designs to the worlds three largest golf markets. USA, Japan, and Korea. Next week I will highlight what is in store for the United States! What we ask everyone to do is look closely at the details of the SEVEN CB. Its obvious that the quality is unrivaled. and no one including Epon, Miura, or PXG comes close to the way the SEVEN CB is manufactured, the J.I.S material quality and the fit/finish. By using 5 Axis milling machines with specialized software SEVEN has created the highest quality cavity back the golf world has ever seen. SEVEN is also boasting the highest manufacturing cost per head with their intention to cut out middle man keeping the retail price as low as possible thus giving the consumer the best product they can buy You are probably wondering how durable is this finish on these irons. First thing to understand is that the standard soft and very durable chrome mirror plating is applied first then a process done after which bonds the GOLD IP finish to the original plating. This means the irons will not rust, the GOLD IP is very durable but eventually wears in the impact zone. If your ball striking skills are half decent the wear pattern looks beautiful after many months of play. The above is what we feel is the perfect view from address. The offset/face progression numbers are exactly what golfers want: 4.5/5.0/5.5 very few clubs have this little offset and this would be equal or even less offset than even the smallest blades. The top line is thin but in perfect proportion to the body and shape, we have also implemented a clear top blade style which is why you dont see bead blast on the top line. The grooves are milled not pressed, the entire face has the tightest milling while the neck transition also has a light mill to show off how well this head is made. The toe extends past the top line not boxed or tear drop but in between for the perfect profile from all angles. he New GOLD IP SEVEN CB retails at $650 per head and while this is still considered very expensive each head cost more than $300 to manufacture and that isn’t including cad, and design fee’s. Simply put these are highest quality irons money can buy for now. Available for Korea shipping addresses only. If interested inquire with [email protected]

Does anyone know anything about these Miura irons?
I can tell you that I know more about how Miura clubs are made than Miura NA themselves. I know more about Miura's history than they do as I have been selling and playing Miura before the guys at NA new or old team even heard of the name. The people who supported that article are from Miura NA. Miura Japan knows better than to talk about this because there are far more educated people on this subject matter in Japan. I can quote Kobayashi former president of Endo " Spin Welded is not real golf clubs ". Many people in foundries know this in Japan. Everyone I have spoken to on the subject in China understand this as well. Spin welded hosels are a way to afford cheaper molds. Remember Titleist used to make clubs with Miura? The reason why they stopped then moved to Endo was due to the spin welded hosels. In Japan the factories that produce spin-welded ( only 2 of them ) and both keep it under wraps. Real molds cost 1.2 million for a set of 8 irons. These cost less than half. The hosel is the hardest part to produce molds for. Spin Welded hosels are also known as 2D heads in Japan. Spin welded hosels also cost less per head to buy. I love Miura, I support them, sold them for years and have a good relationship with both sides Japan and even now with the new U.S team. Great bunch of guys now run it. But I will not let people muddy the waters in the Japan golf market. let's be real here. Miura does not do the first presses of the forging themselves, they buy the heads in it's early yet most important stages their newly released (6/20/2017) models like the 5005 was released in Japan late 2013/ early 2014. Miura dealers are touting it as the most forgiving blade in the world. We have so much user feedback to pull from on these and the 5005 does not feel nearly as good as the 5003 or others due to that cavity and the forgivness is no different. There is so much bull shit going on and it's not only with Miura. The golf industry needs to be purged of this baloney.

Does anyone know anything about these Miura irons?
Verts! Hope things are dandy for you! It will be mixed in the future. Some from Japan while others from Taiwan or China. I don't think people need to be caught up in that part. What I think needs to be addressed is how spin welded hosel heads are inferior to 1 piece heads. What we don't want is people glorifying cutting corners as a benefit when it comes to marketing. It spreads misinformation and there is too much of that right now.

Does anyone know anything about these Miura irons?
Yes it is CB-1005 with custom grind and stamping. I used to own a set very similar that TSG ordered from Miura about 10+ years ago.

The New SEVEN CB
Yes popular shop, we are friends with them and yes they used to have the account but they fully know now they are not a dealer of SEVEN. once we moved to the zero dealers platform to bring the msrp back down to earth we had to cut everyone. It's pretty straight forward - regional distributors want 20% and shops want 100% profit so when you add that into the retail price of a golf club the CB and MCB cost $650 per head. F**k that I am going to remove all the middle men sell direct to consumer and the customer can buy the finest iron made for a much better price. Yes you can bend these and they are very soft to bend. The finish is more durable than any other on the market we have tested this in depth against other brands using fire, saws, nails, razors and hitting balls off concrete. I can say with certainty this is the best plated finish of any golf club on the market today in terms of durability and feel. One thing though - when ordering we can have the bending done with a special Jig at the factory as a major OEM would do. --- Dear America...

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
They have been making in China for a very long time. Drivers almost always. Just keep in mind they cant produce drivers or forged or multi piece golf clubs. They do have casting machines but have not used it in a long time.

The New SEVEN CB
Kinda funny is shops in S.E asia are purchasing these from our proshop full price then putting them on display in their store. SEVEN has ZERO dealers other than TSG but these guys want to look like they carry it.

Callaway Epic Star Japan Only Driver
Nothing typical sir. The Japanese Epic irons should be same as the U.S version with different shaft options.

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
None of the forged CBs were made by Sakata. including 717/727/737 727 Driver was partially made by Endo yes. UT, FW for sure China. Don't let that stop you if you really like them. I just feel the need to call out brands that abuse the true meaning of Made in Japan. The more we let brands slide on this eventually chinese products will be marked made in Japan. Same thing with Tour Issue, Prototype on retail products. We can't let brands bullshit us.

The New SEVEN MCB
Thank you, can you go a little more into what shaft was installed vs what you usually play? Also how many rounds you have had to get used to them? -- There is a simple reason why Epon shapes look dated while other brands continue to evolve including brands made at Endo. It is because Epon has never invested in producing a new mold and they continue to adjust and use others older ones.

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
Finishing they roll shafts assembly badges & paint work polishing packing and shipping etc.. They never had a forging press and they no longer run the casting machines for head manufacturing.

The New SEVEN MCB
We do not have mapped CGs on the MB. I do have on CB and MCB. Does this help = 33886.2095 mm.3 ....lol I can post screen captures that show locations but not actual height #s as the company we have map our stuff does it differently. I know what your saying and it makes perfect sense to me. Im just not sure how much of a difference 0.5mm - 1mm would make in the real world. Maybe its a big effect or maybe not. Everything in golf is so subjective that all we can do is our best to figure things out. So you are thinking a higher CG helps with descending blows? That could be.

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
The issue is its not exactly parts. Its the head. Also to me the biggest issue is that they mark made in Japan at Sakata Factory on everything. If not this is fine. I don't think all swiss watches are made of parts from China. I am also told there are watch brands from Japan without Chinese parts. In golf there are so many people who are brand loyal while the brand lies, cheats them on price and ultimately sells a brand image to the customer.

I love Honma too, just a little disappointed.

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
Despite what I said earlier in this post I have been told that most products besides the shafts are now made in China/Vietnam etc..... but the finishing and completion of the product is done in Japan. So what do I have to say about that? Its a bummer. 90% of their products say Made in Japan at Sakata Factory on the neck. In my opinion its not ok to make a head in China and complete it in Japan then say Made in Japan. Why would I say something negative about a brand we do almost 2m a year in sales with? Because they write made in Japan on the neck. If they did not boast about how everything is made in Japan I wouldn't care. All that said the product is still great and performs well so if this is not an issue for you I am glad.

.350 tip driver shafts?
I suggest asking this question on a forum that does not focus on JDM golf equipment because all shafts in Japan are made to .335 .350 was created for durability btw.
