  1. My Miura 350...I may be selling my backup shortly
  2. Stew...can you hook me up with something shaft-wise with my wimpy 94MPH swing speed (nice catching up the other night btw)?? I have a couple diamanas I could put in it but unsure what would work best
  3. Last one is Rich Beem's putter...choice now is between two and three. Second one is more classic Edel. If I went with Beem's putter would get a martini glass vs the four leaf clover:)
  4. I'm considering picking up a set of yururi wedges and want to know if they're conforming or otherwise. These are the yuyuri raw wedges. My guess is that it depends upon which model we're talking about. Same question for Chikara wedges.
  5. These are the designs I'm considering...looking for input on what ppl think of each:
  6. Novo Golf in Tappan NY...Bill is the real deal there and yes, cost of fitting included. Bill spent a full hour and a half just tweaking, tweaking, tweaking until he/we got it right
  7. Very simple solution for me around custom putters was going with the Edel fitting system. Just completed my fitting last night and it was truly eye opening. First ever putter fitting for me, but I was blown away by the whole process and learned a ton about putter loft, weight, alignment, my swing, etc. The fitting is similar to a driver fitting, but much more precise with lasers and a lot of fine tuning. First is alignment fitting, followed by a fitting for distance and then a few (not a lot) of choices around design of the putter. They do almost nothing to change your putting stroke...it's all about changing your equipment to fit your stroke and to get your alignment dead on. The whole deal takes about an hour and a half with switching up different styles for head, neck, alignment aids on head, dropping in and out different weights, etc. Edel is also big on round grips which felt a bit weird at first, but when I started to line everything up dead center, I quickly forgot about the grip. I will say that their putters are not works of art like some putters out there, but I'm less interested in something that looks pretty vs drops putts. Money well spent
  8. Funny stuff
  9. Doing my fitting tomorrow...psyched! Only problem is it takes about a month to build out
  10. Funny, looks like a counterfeiters site! Is this an official epon announcement?
  11. Have you considered going the custom putter route? Doing my fitting on Wed of this wk for an Edel putter. I'm a decent putter but recently learned that I'm off by as much as 4" to the right on a 10 foot putt...that's HUGE!

The genius who comes up with a non-guessing approach to shaft fittings will truly be a rich dude. Might take the fun out of what many do here, but I'm always shocked by how much trial and error goes into shaft fittings.

Agree...thats why I asked the question. I'm a bit of a putter nut but not a collector, just someone who wants the best putter for the money. Also never been a Scotty fan. I've putted w quite a number of them and have yet to find one that either fit my eye or that felt soft off the face or made me putt any better. More hype than function
  14. A REALLY great price!...I know how much I paid for mine just a few short weeks ago. And a great driver! The more time I spend with this head, the more I love it.

Can someone help me understand how German stainless steel putters differ from "normal" putters...softer metal, better quality or tighter tolerances? Is there that much of a difference to constitute much higher prices? Also, any thoughts on Byron Morgan German stainless putters?
  16. I believe COA reads "Aftermarket German stainless finish, aftermarket sole grind and top line." Is this it?: COA Search May 15, 2012, 05:58:56 PM TCC Advanced COA Search Database (Only one word at a time right now.) 21. Thanks but all set w epon
  22. I have a couple offers I'm considering right now and all set with my Epon 202 3 wood. What's loft of Akira?
  23. My terrific PRGR 3 wood EGG up for sale here. Most here already know, but probably the longest and easiest hitting 3 wood on the market today. Fujikura Speeder 757 Tour Spec S-flex shaft. Club is a 9/10...very minor wear on face as you can see in pics and one very minor scuff on top, although pretty tough to see. Lamkin grip is very close to new. Also comes with original headcover.
