  1. PRICE REDUCTIONS BEFORE EBAY; these prices are extremely reasonable guys, get them before I go throught the hassle of Ebay and ask far more money.....BB
  2. No problem; I will. I keep hearing that it's the best Callaway driver to date from all in the know but time will tell; I'm excited either way! I was going to wait myself but this one kinda fell into my lap; after you factor the upgrade shaft they both worked out at about the same money so why not right! I think the smaller driver head trend will continue; as you know the JDM market wasn't to keen on the initial shift to larger heads in the first place probably for the same reasons already mentioned...BB
  3. It's common knowledge in the golf industry that smaller driver heads reduce drag and improve ballspeeds. For example, the Cally driver that Ernie and Phil are playing is a bit smaller at 430ish cc's and they both improved balls speed in the range of 6-8mph. The optimal size for ball speed is in the 390-400cc range but obviously the drawback is forgiveness. To take this a step futher, one of the problems in the early days of larger club heads was graphite shaft defimation; the further the sweet spot moves away from the shaft tip the force on the shaft increases two fold. I'm sure this is the reason you see the four and now five axis graphite weaves in shaft design these days; shafts have improved a ton! I'm trying to actually move away from 460cc drivers in an effort to increase ballspeed; recently purchased a Tourstage X-drive 445 black and last night a tour issue FT-9TH (same as Phils and Ernies). The 445 feels incredible and I can definitely tell even with the small reduction in size that the shaft/head work more efficiently; I'm typically a soft x-flex guy but stiff flex seems fine in this head...BB
  4. The chrome was fully stripped which suprisingly didn't reduce the weight very much (was worried about that). I had these irons finshed 100% correctly which as you might guess was labor intensive and expensive. The finish is raw however and will age and rust over time; I think this will look spectacular and one of kind. Leading edge is sharp but significantly cambered; best of both worlds.
  5. Like a hot knife through butter; this iron was hand ground with proper "tour" caliber bounce/radius in mind for sure. The overall length of the blade is small and the soles are thin; absolutely perfect in my mind. If I didn't mention, this is a limited addition iron designed for the tour to commemorate Wilsons' 59 (at the time!) major victories. Designed after my favorite iron set of all time; the Wilson FG17's.
  6. Please note that the pics do not do the blue flamed finish in justice at all; look amazing in person. The irons have never been hit since the work was completed. The Circle T is one of the origional tour putters from Scotty Cameron and is extremely rare and collectable; never re-finished. Also, hard to find an Onoff Plus driver with an open face, trust me...BB

  8. Any updates yet on sizing; I'm all in and waiting to order a pair! Any owners out there care to chime in on the overall fit. Gotta get it right the first time! BB
  9. Picture shows a 6X I believe and is there damage to the paint towards tip or is that just a shadow? I'm interested if its an X and no damage...BB
  10. Will these be really wide? I'm in for a pair too...BB
  11. Address pics would be awesome; these look very promising; I feel naked without any PRGR in my bag!
  12. Xcon 5 all of the way; you would like it! Your profile sounds to me like you are a SWINGER of the club. You could also give the Code 6 a spin...BB
  13. This wedge looks sweet; would love to see them in high res! BB
  14. I guess I could add the a few more... Motore F1 Fubuki
  15. Aldila NV Protopype Whiteboard Prolaunch Red Oban Devotion Axiv Core red Graphite Design PM series Kai'li Rombax Z series Scares me just to type the names! These shafts spell "worm burner" in my book...BB
  16. I'm a big fan of Onoff Plus models myself; always do very well in the launch/ballspeed dept. Order one with a Roddio and you will be very pleased...BB
  17. The Tourstage staff bags always seem to have incredible flow; always a pesonal favorite. However my all time favorite is last years Callaway "Tour Authentic" US Open staff bag in red, white and blue; so sweet!
  18. I've had nothing but good luck with all of my PRGR clubs over the years; I agree that the quality is always top of the line.
  19. God only knows but that set of irons is SWEET!
  20. There appears to be two sets; Forged and Tour Forged; my interest is in the Tour model. I've always always wanted a set of Yonex irons and these seem to be the right ones finally.
  21. Thanks Gocchin; why doe's JDM always insist on those ugly gold stipped ferrules on ever single iron; I hate those ferrules! Do you think they would build a (my) set with standard all black ferrules? The new driver looks like it has tail lights...LOL! Stay in touch with me regarding these irons; I may be in the market right now; not sure when they are available however.
  22. These look nice on the Yonex site but no specs or in hand pics; is there a lot of offset? etc...
