yes thats true. i started a nice little colelction in 1990 and some ofd the wines i bought back then are just great now, i dont go over board, ever y cpl of yrs i get a few bottles from good vinatges in oz and store em away. dad help me keep things in check. and im sure from tom night he'll help me just a little bit more. -

the yamaha tour and the tourstage 905 get my vote. thTS is difficult but its a great club to play when uneed to plot around a course. shafted that wit hthe monacco, they are on route to links heaven now. the yamaha tour , no one needs ask me what i thnik of yamaha tour. funnily tho i think the 11 is the better head. BECEASUE the shape suits me better. the tech in the 12 is peerless.

gwet the 8 iron done and compare them, best way to test if u aint got a duplicate set. i do this all the time, the namke a decision, ill normally do 3 -7-8 with diff shafts to compare, been getting great results witthis method. some shafts just dont suit my swing in some heads , but suit prefectly in others trial /error

nope and nope -
"The course itself is an oddity. A mix of penal and bland design with crazy bunkers. The ridiculous bunkering 100m out on every par 5 being the ’highlight’ of the course for me. Off the black tees the course is enormous, and insanely long and hard. From the blue tees the course is still long and brings ever stupidly placed drive bunker into play for me." moonah links open course gotta give this a go!

great to hear thanks. im onto it right now...,

Need recommendation for head and shaft combo!!!
supo replied to indharbor's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
he could easily look at the diamanaX as well in 60s esp as i presume hes got a veyr repeatable driver swing, the mor i itthis shaft the more im finding it to be quite special. as a touring pro , i mguessing the yamah tour wouldnt be out of his grasp. i ahve this exact driver set up and il lswear blind by it . the tour head might be prefect in 10* -
national,,cape shank. and a cpl in he belt hopefully

the MB 905 form alst season , but the katest blades. i bough this yr , reshafted and am taking to oz to give a real workout. love the new shape better than the older models i like the clicky feel to them, they arnt buter soft which i like esp in blades bec u get feedback form where ur hitign the ball. the new Ts gear is pretty well.., striking looks wise. Ts nad yamaha seem to have gone the same direction. no surprises there! im not a fan of the looks of the cavities but im a humongous fan of the results. they look too busy for my eye but plability wise, musatrd. great sticks!

no i would say not, i used the 60x in 9* and it was just an x i got a 'this is in the final" for distance shot away first round with it. distance wil not be an issue. if u got the the dj u will def lose ground but gain crazy accuracy
-
yea thats prob a good description. but not a bad baordy feel thats for sure. the MD is good, but the new materials GD use now makes a differnce, the BBis nicer to play for sure. the diff in flight is noticeable.
-
gets very expensive time consuming, nad not to mention fkkkks with yr head when u start changing irons shafts around every week. like ive been doing this last yr. im at the end of this experimentation now. and have a fairly good view of all the shaft ive played . out of the DG the best ive found are the x-100s. dont care for the s200-300-400 much at all. form the NS range the 1150 tour have what i like to see in ball flight , but they are bit ,well over shooters at times. i get a lot of distacne with these. the modus3 really grabbed me. as i mentioned above. the SP blue are the ones id use all the time in wind, they have the same kind x-100 flight but with some nicer feel to them and the allrounder for every day is easily the shimada tour 120s... i ve got that in my epon 302 7 iron to play around with , and its such a good shaft not high no t low , def has a nice kick and doesnt seem to loose its dispersion. love this shaft. litle on the expensive side tho
-
with the same shaft, def. the yamaha tour 10*
-
firstly the feel is very differnt the new BB has a more rubbery feel and i think it comes out lower than the MD. the MD is more tingy at impact and a higher flight thge MD became really popular in fairways woods. i see plenty of FWS with this shaft in it ive got an old TM tp burner driver i was goingto swap the shaft out of with a MD60s in it . its a good shaft . i prefer to thit he BB tho.
