theres a honma shop near my office. honma only fitting shafts the whle shebang i pass it everytime igo th e bar to discuss the problems of the world. stop in have a peek inside most nights. they have a cpl of sets of gold clubs under lock and key and im sure hte shachos around town buy them everything i see in there doenst look good for golf, it looks good for trophy. imsure honma arnt making clubs for "golfers" the exception to this is hte driver i hit at the tokyo show was good! and that shaft the stock armq was good. the irons ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fagettabarrrrrrrrrrrtit
  3. good stuff. ive gone a similar path to you, repalcing my egg withte roycoll 304p and a yamaha v both i think are more versatile than the egg, but i still think the egg is the longest out there tho roy coll has the a fantastic feeling plus workability is second to none still got my older bbd type h as welll. mine are shafted withthe crazy 80 fw and that suits just perfectly. that p9003x is a sensational shaft, u didnt tip it to play in fw did u? i would think it wold struggle to get airborn . brilliant set up you got there.
  4. Ohhhhhhhh they are the only thing from tm id hit they are money my mates got these they are beautiful! If only i didnt have 675544566 sets of irons theyd be mine

ithink so .., i get the idea ,yea..., i have a diablo piece of gfl SPAMM driver at homw that spins like mad, but boy it goes straight, juts goes straight no where. i reckon i hit this thing better than every driver ive ever hit but 20yards less and high, never done a test on a LM with hit but i bet its monster high i actually like to play this at a cpl of courses that arent long , but bruatlly hard, like pete dyes and muirheads designs. jsut swing and it goes somewhere down the middle not very far, just feels shiiiiiiiiiity, light, cheap and looks horrid, but it works! the control im getting with te ryoma and the nior shaft is quite eye opening for me. regardless fo my swing im getting great small draws pretty much every shot. theres something to be said for just hitting this shaft bec it suits my profile so well. but that would spoil allllllllllllllllllllllll the fun....................,
  10. this 901 head........., i have in my zone sprout protos, and the j beam do thier cavity with as well very popular mould , great looking and beautiful to play. very easy to hit but with a bit of "playability" the grind is the big thing on this head, the sole here looks smaller than on my prtos. really nice feel. the wedges are a very versatile grind. very good off hard pan ground and great rom abunker to hit offf the toe. design i think is beaiutiful, simple and classy.

sheeeeesh.. my buddy pointed out that the TM driver and the callaway i hit with all the shafts gave me really high spin numbers on the ball dont ask me what thety were, but he noticed it and said hang on this is way higher than what is good for me. or what id been hitting previously i got the feeling that the higher the ball spin rate , the higher the shot went , and the less distance it went. and straighter i hit it consistantly when i hit a low spin shaft the overall distance is much better , but the higher spinning clubs i seem to hit straighter. oh and he triangle shaped or taperd back clubs like the TM burner, TM tp burner callway thing i hit that day al lseem to go shorter and straighter for me. ant does this sound right or normal?

hey........! check these out bunker meijin............................. i have 2 of these 60* and 70* for those i just need to make sure if i get in trouble days. from fluffybunkers they are unmatchabe, the ball doesnt spin it just pops out and rolls from thick grass, nothing in same league. ugliest looking clubs ever ,BUT sooooooooooo efective. the eggs will do same thing i guess.

jeff i think the tj 46s shaft is the longest of them all. they are virtuall sanp hook proof, which is why they suit that crazy head so well. plus the crazy is def a flex stiffer than the quadra. as much as i like to swapadn change shafts im not gonna touch the ryoma its perfect as is 321 x d1.5 x 45 taking a yamaha tour stinger out today to play in unison see how this stacks up agn, havnt hit this in a while such a waste!

at the range today on grass. comabtants were.. jbeam 435---crazy tj-46 srixon z\tr tour--- miyazaki kusala epon 102 crazy 80ls 2 epon 102 quadra proto ryoma--crazy 80 noir Tm r11 white thing some crapola stock piece of spam shaft . on off 2011 --roddio si6 s cpl more but these wre hit the most for compariosn i gamed the jbeam crazy bec i was hitting that the most consistant b4 the match, good decision bec on course i was killing it missed a cpl right which is to be expected with tis set up unless u get the hands completely thru on it it loves the right side, so for me it makes me really think about turin the hands over. hit a cpl of giant shots, really long monsters. its super straight , low and rolls a ton, the shaft was a tad too soft it was the 7.2 or s shft, i like the feel of the 7.7 better, and yes you cna rally feel the differnce. thsi driver is 314 x d2 x 46 inch really liking the jbeams , really good heads. the epons are the best feeling for sure, both those shafts are top class in this head. nothing else need apply in these heads. these suit perfectly perfect flight for me gets some good carry with good roll, no where near as low as the jbeam , utterly sensational clubs the new 2011 srixon tour 425 miayaki kusala combo.............. hmm def a proper tour style head rounded, deep and workable. about a billion times better than last yrs one, the tour is a seriosuly good piece. that shaft is avery good feeling shaft, i know absolutely about it but its very stiff and pingy, something likea tour palyer would like id imagine, not gretafeeling, not bad just like what a good player would expect. def on the stiff side of S, not to be toyed with. distance was good. on off 2011 , real surprise, they amde this lot more rounded , fuller and deeper than thier previous models and thsi is by far and away the best onoff to date. thsi combo is a LOT lower than the other models and super easy to hit. beautiful draws all day my partner was getting 10 odd yrds more than ususal. we were all pleassantly surprised. beautiful sound as well very whaaaaatinnnnnnnnng... and good ball flight looks like daiwa had done a lot of homework last yr to get this up to date. superb club! TM driver spam..., no clue what this is r11 with a gold bottom triangle that makes the club go open closed square with a white body. i HATE tm and all thier 70 new drivers per month BUT ihave to fess up this triangle thing is good, one of my all time best ever drivers is the burner TP. that thing was just so straight and short. this is like a new version ofthat club the shaft tho is a piece of spam on this , no idea what was in it a stock thing felt hideous but after 10 shots with this , and that was 9 more than i expected to hit ..., after 1 i went hang on a tic...............,let me hit some more. i shot 10 dead straight down the pipes about 20 odd yards shorter then the other top JDMS, but none the less 100% of these went dead staright i love the look of the trianlge shape driver and the whitehead is bloody good. i hate that i like this driver, i hate that fact , but fact is fact and this was the most consistant staright shooter of the day just 20 odd behind the rest, hey if thats yr thing then this is perfect, its not mine. but if i fall apart ill be running for one to regain confidence in a millisecond.......... its all carry no roll what so ever. ryoma v spec .. longest, draw ball every shot. great feeling, mid low flight. ididnt game this purposely today bec id gamed it 3 times in row with superb results and i wanted to see how the others go agianst it . well. i gotta say after todays game and bout another 200 odd shots on the range ill say thsi is my best driver. the draw bias shaft might be the reason but its just so noticeabe my confidence with this in hand is better than everything esle. i cant ignore it anymore. stil think the others feel better but over all this is my new NO 1. that noir shaft is just the best suited shaft for me, beautiful small draw. its back in the bag tomorrow......!

well..., what aday..., the stig nad i took 12 drivers about the same 3 woods and a heap of other woods and utes hit a ton b4 the match and ton after it my shoulders bloody killing me. the e 2009 shingospec shafted egg at 279 cpm and 328 grams 3 wood was a BEAST.....! its preopsterouly long, much longer than my new model egg with the crazy 80 fw and its like an elecrtic eel the feeling is that alive! i bagged it and hit a cpl of superb shots. got it turn over nicely and was wow..! no idea where ill play thiis tho. im thinking its going back to oz its low too the high launch of the egg has been muted with this shaft it wil run like cath freeman. the new egg in comparison was way way higher. that other 5 wood also was a beast it reminds me of the tour edge exotics, big face suoer long 5 wood. i hitthis against my yamaha^stinger x to see how it went nad the on off was just a cannon, with that tour proto shaft.was smahing it. distance prob the same , but the stinger shaft is just so tightits rediculous. the onn off was easyier to move around but i liked that yamaha better easier to hit not sure what im gonna do withthese fairways i just bought them bec shingo had them made. kinda collector i guess, not every day u get to get a good palyers actual clubs. they are bulletts but i like the yamahas better.
  24. i hit 2 utes today droppeed the 5 wood and hit the 19* yamaha d ut. shafted that with e NS 950 fw 5 wood shaft and it played really well!. the other is my egg5 iron i made into a ute and that im here to tell us is the success story of the yr so far! i was hitting par 3s form 185-215 with it either high fades or straight draws. swing super slow with it and just let the egg face do all the work. thta thing is staying in my bag for ever 22* im rotaing the 19* with a 5 wood tomorrow to compare th out comes but il tell ya that yamaha ute is a bloody beauty. going to see how i go tom b4 i change up the shaft bec the steel one was suited brilliantly.
