You Can Only Have One Brand
(this is supposed to be fun) I've always used the clubs that I thought were the best for my game. I don't really worry what brand it is even though I'd really like to play with one brand if it was possible. So... I was thinking, if I could only use one brand, which one would it be? I'd actually like to have a bag and all the clubs in it be just one brand. I think I've actually lost sleep trying to figure out which one it would be. I think (at least at this moment) it would go like this... PRGR Tourstage Epon Fourteen Yamaha - do they make a Putter? Srixon ONOFF If Gold's Factory made Drivers and FW's I'd have them toward the top. Same with Sky Dream Jump. If you could only play one brand, which one would it be? Why?

PRGR New TR500 Forged Limited Edition
I knew when I first saw these on the GTI blog a little while back these were going to be a must have. I don't know what it is but these look like a winner. IMO, PRGR has to be the most under rated club maker out there. Going to be a serious iron shoot out in a couple of months... Should have 5-6 of the new iron sets ready by then. I have a feeling it's going to come down to the AF302's and these (TR500's).

Kamui Works Drivers
I have a 400cc, a 456cc and the 420cc on the way. Being able to set them up to your exact specs is amazing and makes a difference from an off the shelf driver. It's very hard to get a driver that feels and sounds the way you like. For me the Kamui has the perfect sound and feel aside from performing the way I want it to. I am 100% satisfied with the Kamui. Well worth it. It is the driver I will be playing all of 2010.

The Epon 502 Forged Iron Info & Pic Thread!
I'm happy to report I just got off the course after playing 25 holes today. Playing again tomorrow in Mesquite. Supposed to be 55* no wind. About the putters... soon you will have one made for you. It will be exactly the way you want a putter. It will be built with your specs. Then it's easy to pick out the Gamer. After you have a couple more made then you start a rotation... :)

The Epon 502 Forged Iron Info & Pic Thread!
I have only played these off of pretty tight cold fairways. No problems. What you're seeing is an extremely versatile grind. I don't believe there is anything as 1 grind that is best for you. There are to many different playing conditions regardless of how you swing the club. I do believe these will work best on softer fairways but they will work off of any lie. Really want to know what you think of these after you've had a chance to hit them.

Help me to find a new DRIVER.
I can (and have) play any combo I want. I haven't hit a head-shaft combo that feels or works better than my Kamui w\griffin shaft. Best combo ever for keeping the Drives in the Fairway. Our swing speed is similar. At 100 mph ss this combo ends up 250. I don't have any problem recommending this combo to anyone.

Help me to find a new DRIVER.
Another vote for the Kamui. Long Forgiving Face is what you're looking for and the sound won't scare anyone off. Shaft: 100mph SS = Stiff flex Looking for a lower trajectory? -Graphite Design MD6 Quattrotech -Matrix -White board

Best Sand Wedge
I'd love to get my hands on the new onoff "Shingo" wedges. If they made deifferent lofts I'd have some on the way already. BUT, I am in love with the Sky Dream Jump DP's. Best wedges I've ever played and that includes the Chikara Proto's

2010 Burner TP's
Not trying to answer for BB... but they don't look anything alike, especially at address. IMO, one is a players CB, the other a GI iron. I wanted to get a set of the Burner forged but I just can't get over the thick top line and sole (of any club). The good ball striker is going to want and play the TP any day over the Burner. BB?

The Epon 502 Forged Iron Info & Pic Thread!
Remember this is just my personal opinion/observation These irons have a 45* loft PW They also have a generous/excellent sole grind with plenty of bounce and a wider sole compared to a players CB or Blade. Bending these 2-3* strong would add 2-3* of bounce respectively. That's just too much bounce for these irons. I would strongly recommend NOT doing it. The only exception would be if you always play on very soft, thick (a little bit longer grass) fairways or if extreme digging, deep divots is a problem. Also, a good chance of having the chrome crinkle or flake off. Epon won't do it for you unless they strip the finish, bend it and then refinish it. Get a Sky Dream Jump DP2010 51* and bend it to 50* (That's what I did) Best thing that's ever happened to me.

The Epon 502 Forged Iron Info & Pic Thread!
Well... They showed up... I just played 5 days in a row with them. Big difference from the 1st day to the 5th day. They're a little different from what I'd been playing. Slightly bigger, wider sole which I don't really care for. The grind itself on the irons is an excellent grind. At this point they're as versatile as I've played. Divots were smooth and shallow. They are not diggers. I've got bad news 501 owners. Yes I owned a set. Played about 20 rounds with them. The 502's aren't just a little bit better but ALOT better. They feel better and are more forgiving. The difference in feel is like going from the 501's to the Blades. That's the bad news for the 501 users. The good news is if you are looking for this type of iron, or were thinking about replacing the 501's, these are amazing soft and forgiving.

Black/white multicompounds?? My Sky Dream Jump irons are finished in a matte black satin finish. From the pictures they look similar, they have the KBS black nickel shafts in them and they look so good... Do you know how much longer?

The loft on the iron instead of the # is something I've been wanting for a long time. Forgot to add it to my post. I guess I just figured it's not going to happen...

Some Feed Back on the Apparel
I picked up some items from the Pro Shop when they added the stuff from Toustage, MIzuno and the rest. I couldn't be any happier with it. The stuff really is a step up in make up and quality. I'm very happy with all of it. They all seem to have features that I didn't expect. Linings, asst. pockets in great spots, versatility. Only disappointment was they were sold out of the Silver compression shirts. Anyone else order any of the gear. Thoughts? Did you feel it was worth the money? FWIW I generally wear a Med. I bought all Larges and they fit Perfect. I really like showing up with stuff nobody else has. This stuff looks better and works better.

2010 Golds Factory Muscle Backs!
For me. Blades or Players CB's Ultra thin top line and sole. Basically no offset. Shallow face, longer heel to toe. I'm a big fan of the Satin rather than chrome. A raw face would be really neat, if not the entire head. Lofts: PW-48 9i -44 8i -40 7i -36 6i -32 5i -28 4i -25 3i -22 I think these lofts bring a better asortment of wedges in to play, 52-56-60 which is my preference. A grind that can be custom ordered. I like toe and heel relief with a bit of bounce.

2010 Fourteen UT-409 Pics
What do you think the chance of bending one of those about 2-3* flatter is??

Endo Forged ONOFF Limited Wedges!
The pic with the wedge at address looks pretty much perfect to me. A 52* with a 6* bounce. NICE!!!!

2010 Burner TP's
I inquired about ordering a set but TM Japan will not bend them 2* flat for me. I really don't like bending cast clubs even though most people will tell you it's not a problem. imo, even though they will probably bend I believe the cast club has what I call "memory" and will want to go back to its original shape. Hitting it makes it move back faster. I don't want to snap one off so I passed. But I must say this is one of the few TM offerings I wanted to try. Looking forward to your review.
