  1. Mine aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I don't believe they are conforming... the way they spin the ball I don't know how they could be. I'll be testing the PRGR wedges straight up against these over the next couple of days with a couple of shag bags. I'm very interested in the difference in conforming and non conforming grooves. The PRGR wedges look great but their chance of taking the DP's out are slim. I thought someone would mention the new Forged Cleveland Wedge

Congrats... it appears that you have entered over to the ______ side. :) What a high. New killer Epons and solvent. You think that's good wait for the high you get flushing these beauties.
  3. Well.... I don't like it at all. I love it!!! What a beauty. Congrats!!!!! http://www.goldsfactory.com/blog/
  4. If you want to demo send me a PM with your shipping addy. Thanks
  5. Hi guys, Whether for curiosity or you're thinking of buying and would love to demo first, there is an AF302 - 7 iron available for demo if interested. No cost, you have to pay the freight when you ship it to the next person. LMK if you're interested in demoing this club
  6. I know... it's going to be an excellent club for those looking for this style/setup. Congrats to Ping for making a forged club... with a ton of off set. The cavity... is really bad too.... do you push the button and the Ping logo pops open and that's where the ball marker goes? or perhaps you can change the weights under there?

Just want to make sure that this is not a knock against the 456cc. I love it. (456) It would be in the bag if the 420cc wasn't. Just my personal preference for a little bit smaller head. (420)

I am hitting the 420cc better (I didn't think it was going to be possible) than the 456. I like the smaller head, I don't need the forgiveness. It seems I'm hitting even more consistently. If it's possible it feels even smoother. After 6 rounds the 420cc has made the bag.
  9. First Impression: Very blade like. It is actually a blade in disguise. This is for the good ball striker. Blade player. Beautiful club. If you've ever bought a club just to look at this would be one of them. I'll have a review up in a couple of weeks.
  10. Be sure and post a review on your Gold's Putter when you get it. It will be worth the wait. The 502's are just a bit more forgiving. Feel is going to be excellent with both sets. Offset is just slightly less with the 910's If forgiveness (needing some) is an issue, 502's all the way. What irons have you been playing?
  11. I'd never game it but I'd love to roll a few with it. What a beauty
  12. Anymore pics coming? Looks like aerodynamics have been figured in...
  13. That's why I am going to check it out for myself. Except for the PRGR wedges I have no intentions of buying any other wedges right now that are conforming. I do agree that after a short time that the ball will change and the groove rule really won't make much difference. The ball company that comes out with "old groove" "new groove" marketing can't be to far away...
  14. I'm going to use these wedges to compare to my current gamers and see just how much spin has been lost with the conforming grooves. At this point, at least as far as the wedges go, I have no intentions of using conforming grooves anytime soon. Great review T

I just put the 420cc in the bag. Have had the 460 in the bag for the last several months. Only got 9 holes in so still to early to compare the two. My personal preference is the smaller head. It seems that may be the only real difference between the two. Give me another week with it... Should have a 14* FW here and ready to go in a couple of weeks also.
  16. I am with you on this one T. The person that sent you his prices to beat is the one who should be beat. I do however feel sorry for him as he cannot tell fantasy from reality.
  17. Going to be a great shoot out. Glad to see they both have the same shaft in them. I think you're going to have a really hard time picking out a clear winner. I'll be surprised if there is a "hands down" better driver. Snow sucks
  18. EV-6 or 7? thanks

IMO Raw is a pain in the a** and not worth the trouble. They are not softer than most of the platings.

IMO, Per your discription I would go with the Epon 502's or the Burner forged.
  21. When you considers bags, balls, shoes, gloves, excellent apparal, you name it... Tourstage has it. Looks like the overall winner amongst the posters. My first WITB I posted on here years back was an all TS bag inc. the bag except for the FW's. The only club they make I've never got along with. I have not tried any TS FW's from the last 2 years. Right now PRGR has most of my attention. Thanks for posting guys.
  22. Right now, I play to my 54* This club is so versatile I try and play it when ever possible. The club in my bag I just plain ol love is my 22* egg. Have a love love relationship with my clubs right now. The only pain is the clubs that want to go out and play that are sitting home.
  23. I read everything. :) Nice review BD. First time I hit this egg anything but perfect I'll probably have to try one. Just hasn't happnened yet... I am a huge proponent on flatter lies. T has asked Yamaha in the past to bend a few FW's flatter and they wouldn't. The Y spoon is the pefect lie for folks that like/need the lie's 2-3* flatter. It does make a difference.
