I had an old Wilson putter back in the day that rang like a church bell. Got used to a particular sound and could tell a purer stroke from a crappy one in an instant. But there was no slit in the face behind the face. Also had a sound slot put into my copper putter but no sound from it at all…. All in all am happy to have the auditory feedback from the putter, as long as the sound is a pretty one...

If you are intending to carry the stand bag, then I would go Sun Mountain Four5. Have a couple of them and have been using them > 60 rounds a year for a couple of years with no issues. Recently picked up the ONOFF stand bag and like it very much, but the straps are not as comfortable as the Sun Mountain. Even tried switching the straps to the Izzo after Market, but the OEM straps are better. Will still use the ONOFF but it is 3rd in the rotation...

Actually have those irons... Maybe I should reshaft and five a go with them again...

Do you recall the head size/volume on the driver? Have a set of DWD Silver/Black wood head covers and White/Black iron/wedge covers…

Can vouch for the quality in the Hybrid shaft. Just too loose for me... GLWS

Can't wait to get mine back from being re-shafted… Was too much draw with the stepped and tipped S in the short irons. Have the 3-6 and am looking forward to more full rounds with mine. Think I have found a rotation that is gonna work, just need to figure out which set will be the goto irons...

I would respectfully disagree there. If a problem is the result of a mfg defect, then they should bear the brunt of the cost of fixing/replacing the item. Perhaps, if shipping was to be valued more than the goods themselves, but when you are talking about an expensive bespoke item like a GF putter, if it is their fault they should shoulder the cost.

I'll have a set of Modus 3 3-PW that were hard stepped but playing 38.5" 5 iron so if you just butt cut to standard length would prolly work.... Pulled from a new set of irons I got recently, used them for about a week...

I have an RC TRC UT in 17* if you want to cut it down to length distance could work....

Is the Mizuno Frame Walker bag style comfortable to carry around a golf course? I have been thinking about getting one, but for some reason the exposed frame looks like it might be a problem... Anyone with experience carrying one of these for 18?

I know from the FEX UT, Crazy and UST/Mamiya shafts I have used the spine my builder has found is frequently usually within +- 5* off of the mfg mark on the shafts... So what is the different characteristic for spin and launch with spine up or down? I get the draw/fade bias when not vertical but….
