Grips, Grips, Grips
Having just fitted my clubs with gripmaster, I'll never use anything else, they're that good. Saw heaps of pros at the Aussie masters that have recently switched to these, including Ogilvy.

Epon 101 IP
Hi, I have too much stuff lying around, How many back ups does one actually need! I have for sale an Epon 101 IP 9.5* square face angle. The 'IP' was the limited edition Ion Plated 'all black 101 head. The club is shafted with a 45" Fineone W6-060-07 shaft CPM is 260 I think, mid-low kick very smooth shaft. SW is approx D2. Grip is Lamkin crossline. The club is in excellent condition with some ball marks in the centre face and tee marks on the sole as you would expect with an IP head, nothing that affects play of course and the crown is as good as new. Price $650 or $550 (head only) plus shipping from me in Australia. Please PM offers or enquiry, thanks for looking.

Epon AF-151
Tiger doesn't have a 151, perhaps if he did he would have the confidence to swing harder lol :)

Epon AF-151
Mate who knows, at the end of the day if it's on the fairway who cares. My brother came out at 100mph on the Bridgestone machine which is consistent with 3 other LMs for him. Pros swing at 80% so I'm guessing JB could ramp it up if he wanted. I was most interested in noting my best contact and accuracy was at 119 but pinned the ears back for amusement more than anything!

Epon AF-151
Definately forgiving. I was testing the new B330 on LM last week end. At 122-126 mph I don't hit the middle everytime but the distance and dispersion of flush vs off centre contact was not that marked, 315 vs 290, very forgiving in a pure package.

Epon 701 and 502 loft* info needed
If your 7 iron is Disproportionately longer than your 8 iron but your 6 iron isn't significantly longer than your 7 iron the reality is it's likely to be the indian not the arrow. You could adjust the lofts to give the distance gaps you need, this is quite common, but confidence and swing are more Likely the answer. For what it's worth when testing the 502 I found the distance extraordinary but I didn't strike the 701 as well as the sole doesn't suit me. If you are achieving better results with one model over another then design properties form part of the equation. All in all, go with what gives you the most confidence. It's a hard enough game without worrying about what you have in your hand when you're addressing the ball!

Epon AF-151
That's what I like visually about the 151, it's not overly long heel to toe. Longer certainly than 101 / 102 but sets up pure.

Crazy Shaft (extra care needed)
My colleague broke his LY01 just by leaning on it to tee his ball!

Crazy Shaft (extra care needed)
Having faced a West Indian quick years ago I have to disagree, I would rather play Beth Page Black than relive that experience! NOT for the faint hearted, it's terrifying actually, you can't die playing golf but I'm pretty sure Otis was doing his level best to knock my head off and damn nearly did, it's amazing how quick your footwork becomes when 5 1/4 oz is coming at your throat at 155kph! The cut is under new management and is apparently in good nick these days. If you do get over, don't leave Port Kennedy off your list, it's a true links course and most challenging.

Crazy Shaft (extra care needed)
now that's a golf trip, I've played all those WA courses and WAGC was my home course for years.........I've only played the cut in bad whether and decided there was a letter missing from its name.........

Crazy Shaft (extra care needed)
bugger that! just come down here and play!

Epon AF-151
Yes, I ordered a 198g head to suit my preferred 75g shafts. When the head arrived it was spot on 198g which is to be expected from Epon. I think the fire express is next on my list for this head, I hit Skippercary's 101 with fire express X-flex and thought the shaft was sensational and would be an excellent fit for the 151 for players that can handle it.

Epon AF-151
Oh, and the 151 is certainly more forgiving and feels awsome but not as nice as the 101/102 but that's on an Epon scale remember!

Epon AF-151
I'm looking for skippercary to chime in here, he is a former state junior and accomplished amateur who currently plays a 101 / fire express. He had a hit of my 151 yesterday and the expression was priceless. The 151 is looooong, and sets up perfectly orthodox as preferred by better players. In my opinion having played the 101 for the past 12 months, the 151 is longer, spins a fraction more, is certainly workable but not as workable as the 101/102. Interestingly is was expecting a higher trajectory with the 151 over the 101IP but it isn't as dramatic as I anticipated, 151 launches real strong. PS 151 with a fire express we decided would be insane.

2010 Egg 15
Always in the fairway! I'm jealous of you straight hitters! If I was always in the fairway I could play for a living (maybe :) Sound like I need an Egg in my bag not just on my breakfast plate

epon 208 kgx copper wedges
There have been many comments, including by myself, in relation to the 208 wedges. I will say that after much adjustment I have mine perfect and they are the best performing wedges I've owned. In retrospect, having wedges ground and bent to personal specs is probably the most critical aspect of equipment fitting as far as scoring is concerned. Therefore, whilst I was originally critical of some of the design aspects namely the wide sole & lack of heel and toe relief in reality this gave me a good area to grind on until they are just perfect! I'll post some pics of mine on the weekend if there's any interest. I have added a 210 gap wedge to my bag and it spins plenty, I'm used to conforming grooves anyway, playing the AF-Tour as irons. However, I'm used to playing with the luxury of ball shearing spin with the 208 sand and lob wedges and I'm not ready to give that up just yet!

Utility new one neded
I'm currently trying Altus HB in my 19* 901 because I had this shaft lying around, it's ok, a bit light, I look forward to trying the DI hybrid shaft which has just launched on tour and should be available at retail in Feb. I have KBS hybrid in my 22* and a standard KBS 90 in my 25* both are excellent, perhaps the better IMO is the standard iron shaft if you want to maintain and iron like performance and feel. I went for the 90 instead of the Tour 5.5 as per my irons to save a few grams, works well.

Utility new one neded
I have 19* 22* & 25* 901's which have all been in my bag at various times. I think they are awsome, the feel is out of this world like a forged iron. I find them more accurate than a traditional hybrid. Choice boils down to whether you are more comfortable with an iron or wood and what you are trying to achieve. Perhaps if you're using hybrid for a driving club the extra size and forgiveness of a utility may suit, but for precision I have had more success with the 901.

Which IRON?
I'm currently experimenting with the 302 at the top end of my bag and whilst I haven't had enough course time to offer comment on the combo set concept, I have hit enough shots with the 302's to know they are very special clubs. Frankly I would be perfectly happy to play a full set of them, but I am a high ball hitter and my strike is suited to a muscle back. For interests sake, I estimate the 302 is 20% more forgiving than AF-tour and about 80% as 'workable'. This is why I thought about the combo set, with my 4&5 irons from 180-200 meters, I'm really only looking to hit a 'shape' into the green and nothing too fancy as far as flag hunting therefore at least In theory, a bit of extra forgiveness seems like a good idea.

Saqra Golf INB-1150 Forged Irons
Hey Chris, I did see pics/ impressions of these some time ago and loved the look of them then. The prior version pics I saw had a flower on them which we suggested to remove - blade players are aggressive and don't want girly flowers on their clubs right! :) what is the purpose of reverse off-set? is it possible to get them from Epon(?) with reduced off-set? combo set availability?

epon 302/ af tour combo set .
No cons, I'm playing KBS tour 5.5 in my AF tours, a perfect marriage.

PRGR egg spoon
+1 on that. Of course we will be disappointed for you when you do your money........but if you buy from reliable sources such as TSG you wont have to worry about such things. Me? wouldn't buy from HK..........may as well set my wallet on fire and be done with it.

New Epon AF-202 Fairway Woods for 2010!
there's not many manufacturers with the ability to manufacture to such tollerences.

Epon 901
I agree 100%, the 901 is fantastic. I think the Epon offerings cover the full spectrum of equipment with the noticable exception of a wood style hybrid. I too would prefer Epon to release a wood style hybrid than tinker with the 901.

Epon 901
not that I am aware of.........what could be done to improve the 901?
