  1. That's a beauty! Please post pics once the patina sets in!!
  2. Lol! I wish these silly drives happened more often but thankfully when they do I have witnesses and gps because I wouldn't believe me either!! One thing for sure is that 550yd par 5's are pretty easy when you only have a 7 or 8 iron in! Now I need to figure out my next paint job for the time when this honeymoon phase wears off!
  3. I should add the disclaimer that we have pretty hard fairways out here so 30+ yards of roll is normal this time if year. Still gotta hit 'em straight though... Tokidoki, my buddy can do it for you. customgolfclubpainting.com
  4. I've been a heavy head fan for a while and if we want more distance, simple physics states we should swing the heaviest head we can as long as it doesn't kill swing speed. And lighter doesn't always give us enough swing speed (or control) to add any significant distance...so here I am. If I listened to any of my builders I wouldn't have made many of my own personal discoveries about what works for me. 70g shafts at flexes supposedly too soft for my swing speed paired with super heavy heads are killing fairways for me, as noted by my current 435. It swingweights at F3 but by all accounts should be unplayable..."otherwise the pros would do it". Guess what...LONG and accurate!
  5. Amazing! Apparently the honeymoon phase works with new paint jobs just as well as it does with entirely new clubs. I was absolutely killing this thing today. All GPS measured, most over 300yds, two over 330, and this bomb... (Played from the back tees)
  6. Very nice! What is the reason for not flushing the heel side backweight on the zen?
  7. That's what I'm looking for in the hopes that it plays similar to my old Titleist Elk forged. Did you get a chance to lie it open? How does it set up for flop shots? And one last question, is 58 the highest loft I can get or can I get a 60? Btw, I'm ready to order if you want to email me an invoice...
  8. Thanks! Does the pro also have minimal onset like the 2?
  9. Slight high toe shots give me an extra 30+ yds compared to middled shots on the v-spec!
  10. Thanks guys! I gave him a couple of ideas as to what I wanted but left him with a green light on his artistic expression. It was a total surprise and I was fully satisfied with the outcome. Next up will be my hybrid and then 5w!
  11. I wanted to stick with the Hawaiian theme and my buddy came through big time with this and got it to me today before our charity scramble. I had to take a few crappy pics just post up but the pearl paint really pops in person!
  12. Damn, I knew this wouldn't last until I got home from work!
  13. Damn...can't even get a comparo with the stock shaft!
  14. I know this isn't the right place for discussion but please start a thread letting us know what you went with and the results. I can't imagine my zen getting any better...but I'm still a ho at heart!
  15. Anyone that wants to try one of the best yami fw's for a great price needs to snap up that iFF!
  16. Can't believe you're selling it. Did you ever get to try the ff shaft in her?
  17. I'm playing the same 5w and the stock graphite design shaft is shockingly good at 63g. I like heavy head, heavy swingweight and this set-up matched my 3w surprisingly well. I had a 75g shaft ready to go in this and decided to play a round with it as is first. That was several months ago and I now have no intentions of messing with the set-up. With that said, I'd use the same weight shaft for the 5 and 7...
  18. As soon as you can give me details and differences I'm ready to start with a 58 or 60*!
  19. i know, zero user testamonials and i've been waiting for the tsg review for some time now! i wish it came in a 60* or 61*!
  20. any more info or reviews on this. i'd also like to see a straight picture of the sole. If you don't have time, send me the 58* and i'll write a thorough review!
  21. geez, it may be the wedge that that's been calling to me for some time now! the only one i've seen with onset... http://www.tourspecgolf.com/product_info.php?products_id=5253
